Lucky Jak’s Moving

I was in need of a moving company and had heard so many horror stories that I was really nervous. My neighbor referred Lucky Jak’s and I truly could not have made a better choice. Someone from Lucky Jak’s came to my house prior to my move and explained the entire process and gave me a quote. They took such care of my possessions and placed my furniture exactly where I wanted it. Not only were they professional and courteous, the team worked like a well oiled machine. In addition, their final bill was exactly what was quoted to me, there were no hidden fees. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with Lucky Jak’s. They really made this move very easy for me. I could not recommend them enough.

Words cannot express how happy I am with the job that Lucky Jak’s Moving did for me. Not only were they on time and well-​prepared, but they packed my furniture perfectly.
From the time they arrived, they were professional, courteous, and efficient.
I have moved three times before, and Lucky Jak’s Moving by far, is the best! Jaime, the owner, was informative and accommodating. The workers were hardworking and took care of my belongings just as if they were their own.

This is my first Unilocal post, but I felt I needed to sign up to review Lucky Jaks Moving. After an 11^th hour cancelation from a prior mover, I found myself scrambling to find a company that would move my things from Apt A in Manhattan to apt B in Brooklyn. Time was not only a priority, but obviously, my concern was that my things would be moved with care and at a fair price. I found Lucky Jaks through a recommendation from a friend, and boy am I now convinced that everything happens for a reason. First of all, I was quoted an hourly rate, as opposed to the flat fee my original mover had quoted, so the concept of a ticking clock made me slightly anxious.
They not only confirmed and REconfirmed throughout the week, but Jamie, who I mainly spoke with, assured me that he would bring 3 men to expedite the process. These guys were rock stars! They wrapped all of my fragile furniture, carried my HEAVY boxes up 3 flights of stairs, and always had a good attitude. By the time it was all said and done, I ended up paying only $ 50 more than the original flaky moving company that canceled on me.
These guys are no joke. They’re good, efficient, clearly experienced and worth every penny. I will be recommending them to anyone who ever asks me for a referral.
