Pawz & Clawz Pet Grooming

I bring my extremely hyper Aussie here and am generally pleased although they are pretty pricey and not always happy with how unruly my dog can be during his bath. However, some of the groomers here have more patience and have become understanding of how much my dog truly hates being groomed. Overall, my multiple visits have been satisfactory and they listen to what I ask. A complaint I would make is that they sometimes add on an extra $ 15 because of his poor behavior (kindve ridiculous). However I have yet to find a better place. And when they do a good job he comes out smelling like sweet candy and occasionally has a decorative bandana around his neck.

I’ve been coming here regularly for about a year to have my 49-​lb Australian Shepherd mix, Sassy, groomed and cleaned. I’ve never been disappointed with the service here and am surprised by the negative review. The prices are reasonable, and Sassy always leaves the place: 1) comfortable, not traumatized (though she’s shy around strangers) 2) perfectly trimmed according to my requests (shorter in the summer, but I like to keep her tail fluffy!) 3) silky smooth 4) smelling like candy. Sometimes, the groomer even ties an adorable bandana around her neck to complete the presentation when they return her to me. I’m really going to miss this place when I move over to the West coast with my dog, and hope that I can find a comparable groomer in my new area. Thanks so much for the excellent service!

This owner is beyond rude and passive aggressive. She is so unpleasant to deal with. She does the opposite of what you ask her to do, and refuses to accomodate you. Also, horrificly expensive. Dont waste your time.
