Taiwanese waffles in Flushing. They are similar in texture to the European style waffles offered at Waffles & Dinges, so more dense and hard than the usual fluffy American waffle. These were just so-so for me — nothing special. They are pretty small and tasted very dry. It looks like they make them earlier in the day and have them sitting around all day. They have vanilla and chocolate flavored waffles and a choice of various toppings like ice cream.

First time trying their waffles. It has mochi texture which is pretty chewy with slight sweetness to it. Unlike other waffle places in NY, it’s very different from the western waffle style. The western style is fluffy and sometimes if they make it bad, it just tastes like slightly crispy pancakes. And right now, it’s only a dollar for the original waffle from 3−6pm. Who can complain? Go for a try and you will love it!

I always pass by this whenever I go to flushing and i finally get to tried. They are across the street from DR, and near chatime the stall is small. I tried their monster waffle and I love it and it was only 5 $ what can I complaint bout it.

Nothing special. I prefer the original over the chocolate one. It’s literally a snack you can eat in 2 bites. $ 4 for 3 was an okay price too.

Taiwanese Waffles! A quick Google search notes that Taiwanese Waffles are popular in the Taiwan Night Market. The quick description — they remind me of Waffles & Dinges… but not as sweet. I love Asian desserts specifically for that reason — it’s not overly sweet. I got a simple waffle — chocolate. YUM! Here is the pic — ENJOY!

If you wanna be specific, I’d give it 3.5 stars. The waffles were good, but the ice cream was better. I actually wanted the red bean flavor ice cream, but it seems that they didn’t serve it that week. To me, it’s a little disappointing planning a visit to have something in specific to find out that they weren’t even serving what you wanted that week. When I made my order, the employee forgot my ice cream. She was very apologetic and quick in fixing her mistake which made me forgive the whole thing completely. Their system in how they operate could use some tweaking. Although, they are cramped in such a small so maybe they’re doing the best they can with what they have.

I went all the way to manhattan and went searching in Central Park all over for the waffle man. When I got the waffles my expectations were let down. Wafles and dinges were overly sweet. Qqbee is much better than Wafles & Dinges in my opinion. Not overly sweet :) The customer service is also very nice and friendly. They truly care about giving the customers what they want.

Simple breakfast or a snack? You can get either with these made to order waffles at the new QQBee. Touting a cute bee mascot(not to be confused with jollibee) on their storefront, this tiny little waffle shack is located in the ameri-east mall on Main street right next to cha time. Their soft and chewy waffles encourage you to nom your way to the bottom of each individual wrapper. Each freshly made waffle comes out nice and warm and are drizzled in chocolate sauce and sprinkled with powdered sugar. They have original which is a vanilla flavor and also comes in a chocolate flavor. If you order a scoop of ice cream on top of your waffle it comes in a cool box and you can choose from fancy flavors like red bean and the nose-worthy durian flavor. Its a new stand so they are still working on their service but your best bet is ordering at the cashier and picking up at the window. Remember to ask for utensils because they sometimes forget. Right now their grand opening special is buy 2 get 1 free. Definitely a good stop if you want a small bite with your bubble tea.

This is a waffle dessert place right next to chatime on Main Street. Prices are very reasonable and they have some special deals since they just opened recently. The waffles are good and not too sweet even with the chocolate syrup. Would definitely come back to try the different kinda of waffles. They have chocolate and vanilla flavored waffles. The owner was also super friendly and nice.

QQ Bee is a Malaysian/Taiwanese chain and this is their first US store! This is their opening week so this weekend, they have a special promotion of buy-2-get-1-free. So this is what I got: Original Waffle + Vanilla Ice Cream + Chocolate Syrup + Whipped Cream = $ 3.25 I was a bit bummed because I really wanted to try their DURIAN flavored ice cream with the waffle(I just had stinky tofu for dinner and thought having another odorous delicacy couldn’t hurt) but they only had it in soft-serve form AND they only offer 2 soft-serve flavors per week and this week just isn’t my week v.v. From the unadorned bite I had, I think the waffle is more chewy than crisp and quite bland. I don’t recommend getting it plain. Their hard vanilla ice cream is pretty good, but not spectacular. Having the waffle + ice cream together made them both taste infinitely better. Although the flavors here can’t compare with any of the American waffle makers(ex: Waffles and Dinges), it offers great prices for a small sweet snack. And it’s pretty good if you’re not looking for a mind-blowing, gourmet dessert. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that they’re not at tip top shape since it’s only their second day of operation(and it looks like they’re touching up on training). I’ll come back for another review~
