If you meet this person, you need to run because he will take your money and run. It’s actually his hallmark. He took a $ 1000 deposit and then never showed up to do the work. Unfortunately, it’s not just me. Google his name and apparently, he does this with a lot of other people. It’s his scam.
But, what makes me compelled to write this review isn’t because he took my money. I feel sorry for the guy since it must be tough life for him. But, what made me write this review is what he did to me afterwards. I might have literally called him dozen times and every time he would promise to call me back. Eventually, after 2 months of this, he said he would give me my money back and named a very far off location. (I now realized he did this on purpose.) Took me an hour drive to get there. I called him and he said he’s almost there and just to wait a few minutes. Waited an hour and he never showed up.
So, I called him the next day and he said that he must have just missed me. I couldn’t believe the gumption on this guy. How could he miss me when I was standing in the cold for an hour? But, he promised that he would be at this other address a week later. How come I’m not surprised that the same thing happened again when I showed up the following week?
It’s ok to steal someone’s money but why would you promise to pay him back and make him drive all around town? I guess he thought that if he made it really difficult, people will just give up. I don’t think he realized that it only gets them madder and will do more to get the money back? This guy is shameless.
I went to court and won. I have a court judgment against him but the guy apparently has no money.
I just want to let people know to avoid this person. He’s going to put you through a lot of grief.
By the way, he keeps changing his business name in order to perpetuate his scam. The business names that he uses are Ace Flooring, A&A Flooring, A&B Flooring, RLS Flooring, RLS Maintenance, RLS Movers, etc.
