Nice little dive bar off Roosevelt. Cool«The Most Interesting Man in the World» cardboard cut out near the juke box. The Guiness was good and the bartender Lisa was lovely and pleasant. She was the icing on the cake. Thanks Lisa!!!

2 years later and this bar is still one of my favorites! Bartenders are nice and the mixed drinks are good. I like the mixed crowd which is refreshing in this neighborhood.

Great neighborhood sports bar. Lots of TVs and a great jukebox. Many beers on tap and lots of bottle options, including a number of seasonal selections. Very reasonably priced and a very accommodating staff. Great spot to catch a game or get a drink before or after dinner if your dining in the area.

My friend and I wanted to try a sports bar and happened to find this on Unilocal. It looks shady and dingy and everything you would expect from a bar in Flushing. The bartender was awesome! She recommended drinks to my friend and I. I got the lychee martini which was definitely new and something I hadn’t tried before. If there’s any games on, you can ask to watch it from their many televisions. We went around 7pm and it was quiet which was actually really nice and a fun way to enjoy whatever basketball game was on.

So I just flew in from Texas and boy are my arms tired.(Ba-dum-bum). No, seriously folks, I just flew into La Guardia on the day that the Rangers(the baseball ones) were playing Game 5 against Toronto. I planned to hang out at the airport for a couple hours until my Cuz got off work to pick me up, but I couldn’t miss the Rangers’ playoff game. I called the bar from the airport to make sure they had TVs, and they would put the game on for me. So I took Über over to the bar. The bartender was a good-looking, personable, girl named Vicky. She had a pleasant demeanor and wanted to make me feel welcome. Despite the fact that we were in the heart of Mets territory, she put the Rangers game on every TV in the bar! Is that great hospitality, or what? All in all, I had a great time. They had my favorite beer on tap(Sierra Nevada Pale), as well as others. I noticed Blue Moon and a few of the mass-produced brands. My Cuz showed up and had a drink, too. Unfortunately, the Rangers lost due three errors in the 7th inning. Notwithstanding that, Roosevelt Sports Bar was a great place to have a beer and watch a game.

This place is the only traditional American sports bar in flushing. It’s hidden in a row of random food and other businesses. Oftentimes the drinks here are cheap and the servers are good company.

Great bar for your drinking needs. The bartender made my liquid marajuana after only looking at the recipe once and it was mixed perfectly. Yummy drinks and nice people

Best service ever! The bartender was extremely kind and accommodating. She made us feel like we were her regulars getting special treatment(despite never having been here before). There’s 8 flat screens. So we had a great time watching the U.S. Open while chowing down delicious Taiwanese food.

The only bar bar in Flushing, I believe. A bit worn down and small, but we had a blast. The bartender gave me one drink free. Friends and J spent the night drjnkjng jäger bombs.(watch out for the caffeine content. couldn’t sleep a wink) it was a tuesday night sk business was slow and mist watched the games on the screens. There is one darts board for your drunken games.

Had a great time here on a Saturday. Not too many people. The music selection was from a customers iPhone and it was a good mix. I liked how the interaction with the customers and the bartender. Even with only one bartender for the whole place, she was very interactive and attentative. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

This is probably one of the last sports bars in Flushing. And the guy, Danny, running the place is a cool dude. It’s a little out of place in Chinatown over there, but it’s alive and kicking. The place isn’t pretty, new, or a destination. But it is a great local hangout for anyone looking to watch the game, kick it with friends, or just grab a shot for your afternoon coffee! I saw a girl do this while I was there. Excellent choices. Tabletop electronic games, lotto, and tons of booze. This place is a solid bar.

I was happy to find this place while exploring downtown Flushing, all the other bars in the area seem to be Karaōke bars(which is to be expected with the demographics). I had several delicious beers and was overall impressed. The bar atmosphere is divey, but that’s what I like in my bars. This is down the street from my new favorite dim sum restaurant, so I am sure I will be stopping here again for a post-lunch/dinner beer whenever I find myself in New York again. Note to Google Maps users: this place shows up as Two Fat Frogs.

My wife and I have experienced nothing but courtesy and friendliness from this establishment. On the night before Thanksgiving, the owner, with the help of the bartender, prepared a delicious and robust buffet for everyone, on the house. Bottom line is, the owner treats his employees with respect, and in turn his employees pass on this respect to the customers.

Seems like a great bar to come to around the area. Only place around that shows sports. The drinks and snacks are decently priced. They have one giant tv and and eight other tvs to watch sports so you can have a good view no matter where you sit or stand. They also sell lottery tickets if you want to test your luck.

Drinks are cheap, music is loud, and there are always people playing darts like it’s their last night on earth. It’s pretty cool that they let you call delivery to their place and eat it there. Only issue is that the place is small but if you get there a little early, who cares

When I lived in Flushing, this was my go-to bar. The bartenders are all young Asian Americans who are incredibly laid back and easy to talk to. A good place to go to when you need to get away from the über-Chineseness of Flushing. The beers are $ 5. My buddy and I used to hang out here before going into the city at night. Then after coming back, we’d end up here again.

Came here last Thursday with my boyfriend to catch the Knicks-Rockets game. After furiously Unilocaling the Flushing area, we came to realize that this was the only place around that had actual TVs for sports watching(versus, KTV). We arrived before the game started, surprised to see it was a little empty. There are a lot of TVs hanging around, and the bar is pretty long. There also seem to be some arcade games. My boyfriend and I took a seat at the bar, and waited for the bartender to come take our order. We both ordered a draft beer, and the total was $ 11. So, not totally cheap for Flushing, but not terribly expensive either. When we first arrived, the music was blaring, so we could barely hear the game. However, after another patron probably complained, the bartender turned off the music and raised the volume on the TV. The bartender seemed to interact with some of the other patrons, but left us mainly alone. The crowd of the bar also seemed a bit dull. A decent sports bar in the Flushing area(perhaps the only sports bar), but I think I’ll be sticky to the city for my Knicks game fix.

In a hood so heavily dominated by KTVs, bottle service lounges, and Asian venues, it’s nice to see a place like Roosevelt Sports Bar(RSB) to provide a refreshing neighborhood alternative. First timers might notice that RSB looks a lot like many bars throughout Queens and the rest of NYC, but it is tucked away(read: buried) in a congested spot of salons /barbershops /and divey establishments. There are(count em!) 9 flat screen HD quality TVs spaced across the bar so that no one misses a game. In the event there are multiple big games on, the staff will usually try to accommodate, but be prepared for boos /cheers if there is a large crowd that night. I’ve enjoyed watching NFL games out here in the past, especially if it’s a Jets /Giants night. The sports angle is clearly their biggest asset. The bar tends to boast the 45 ft of space, which is necessary because the place doesn’t look that big from the outside. It should also be noted that the space is pretty narrow, which means it can be a real challenge for larger groups or if someone needs to have a seat. The bigger challenge with all crowds is navigating through the sea of people when venturing to the other side — a problem that any popular place is likely to have and it’s never more evident than at RSB. Drinks are reasonable and the bartenders are pretty generous with buybacks and shots on the house. Cocktails can be a little watery at times, but just be sure to ask for your drinks to be extra strong. It can be a semi-challenge getting their attention when people are jockeying for position, but I recommend scoring a seat at the bar to avoid any complication. Overall, the staff is nice and know their regulars quite well. RSB might not be a glorious bar by any real standards, but it serves a good purpose as a solid neighborhood sports bar. On occasion, they’ll bust out a mini buffet of food for bigger events and can be a fun spot with a good group of people.
