I’ve been going to this neighborhood pharmacy for several years now for I am the type to support your local small businesses. The business is under new management. All the former workers seemed to know the neighborhood residents are gone. I still gave it time under the new management but what happened last week has made me rethink and have decided to change pharmacy. After filling a call in prescription, I was told my insurance company would pay $ 23 of a $ 25 medicine. The man in the front then asked if I was willing to pay more because he was losing money. He said the bag costs money, the label costs money. Can I give $ 2-$ 3 more. I was shocked. I said no, I will only pay what I need to pay. I’ve heard from my neighbor they tried this with her as well. Shameful. The next prescription I need will not be going to Salzman Chemist.

I switched to Salzman Chemists from Walgreens. I am so glad I did. These people are fast and very nice. Salzman Chemist is now my Pharmacy!

I have been associated with this pharmacy for years. The previous owners Dominic and Gloria were great and the new owners are just as great. They work with you if you have any insurance problems, they know you by first name and they have great prices on over the counter medications. I especially like that they can get my refills ready monthly automatically if you ask them. No matter how busy they are, if you are waiting in the store they will rush the order for you. And if you can’t make it in they have deliveries going out almost all day. If you like vitamins they have sales very often and a huge line of kosher vitamins. All in all its a great place, with great products and amazing service!

They are the local pharmacy for me. My parents have lived around the corner from them for nearly 35 years. The previous owners sold about 2 years ago. so these are probably the 3rd owners. They’ve renovated it slightly but it’s still the same stuff on the shelves. You’ll probably want to walk up to Rite Aid for cheaper prices on over the counter stuff. Also annoyed they got rid of the 5 cent copier machine which was nice for my parents when they needed to make copies. Otherwise they’re pretty quick to fill orders.

They were awesome, I was going to them for 18 years. Then, suddenly they«changed hands», man how the times have changed. If you were in their system before the change, you aren’t now… you’re prescriptions are lost and YOU have to call your physician to get them refilled… now it just seems like you are another number.

They fill your prescriptions. They are small so they are personable. I’ve waited for my prescription and perused the old and weird selection of items in their store. There is a closer pharmacy, but they don’t have the selection this place has. It’s not bad.

This has to be the best pharmacy ever. My son is an infant and has had several ailments. Other pharmacies have made us wait forever while the baby screams and fusses. This place gets you in and out and actually will go over things with you, whether you have questions or not. Rite Aid hands you your bag and takes your cash and is on to the next customer. This place really takes the time and lets you know what you really should be looking for in side effects and such! I highly recommend them!
