Sleepy’s

Needed a mattress same day. Walked into sleepy and was met by Jerry. He was very accommodating and patient. The mattress we wanted was not in stock for pickup. He showed us a much more expensive mattress which he had in stock and sold it to us for the same price as the one we wanted. The mattress was more comfortable than the original one we picked out.
Thank you Jerry and I would refer all to see him.

My sales rep Phil was very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to give him all 5 stars if my pick up experience was somewhat pleasant. I’ve purchased from Sleepy’s before and I didn’t remember having any complaints and my mattress has lasted a pretty long time. Their warranty is pretty impressive too that’s why I decided to go back to purchase a second mattress. Phil was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I was pretty clear on what I wanted and Phil was able to give me his opinion and suggestions that were pretty valuable in my decision to purchase a mattress I would be happy with. He followed up like he said he would. My only complaint is the day I received the call to pick up my mattress I wasn’t fully informed that I needed to bring someone with me. I had purchased a king size memory foam mattress that I was told it would be pretty compact. So when I received the call I arrived within an hour to pick it up. The sales person Jerry looked up my order and was surprised that I came alone to pick up a king mattress. He didn’t seem like he wanted to help in any way. He said I needed to find two people to help me carry it to my car which was parked right in front. He said the mattress was well over a hundred pounds and he wasn’t going to break his back bringing it to my car. I thought that statement alone was pretty rude. First of all they knew I was coming to pick it up. Second, they are a mattress company not a small goods company where people could carry their items out. I came back a few hours later with my father and brother in law. Jerry took us to the back where he literally tossed the box containing a queen size memory foam mattress on the side and then pulled out my king size memory foam mattress. Basically used one finger to hold up the box while my brother in law put the hand truck under the box to roll it out. MY FATHER DIDNT HAVE TO DO A THING. Then I look at the box and it read 35 kg (which equals 77.162 lbs) how is that «well over» 100 lbs??? I was so upset at his exaggeration and his unwilling attitude to help. I could’ve easily done this with a hand truck by myself if he hadn’t said it was well over a hundred pounds. I called my sales person and he continued to apologies for his coworker. I didn’t cancel my order because of Phil (my sales person). I wonder if Jerry’s attitude was because I wasn’t his customer and that he got nothing out of helping me.
Update: received an actual call from Sleepy’s customer care and I’m extremely surprised. My complaint was addressed and «Chanel» (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) the customer care rep explained why it was a liability to bring it to my car although alternative ways for helping me was available. I added a star to Sleepy’s, the corporation, for the fact that they are serious about their customer satisfaction. They even showed concern how satisfied I was with my purchase. All this happened within 48 hours of my purchase. –A satisfied customer.

Great customer service! I found a comfortable mattress and got a great deal all in less than an hour. Jerry is friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything quick and easy. Definitely recommend this location!

Horrible service
These reps are worse than a used car salesmen
Went there Sunday and was followed around and was told that we couldn’t freely walk around !! Really ???
We walked out !!! Lost a big sale !!!

My first experience with the sales rep was great. BUT!!! I ordered my mattress and it was to arrive at a different location by the following Wednesday. Turns out that this mattress is in back order. YES BACK ORDER. Why wouldn’t they have told me this when I ordered the mattress.
I called the store that I originally purchased it and spoke to the most rude manager ever. Talk about the customer always comes first. First of all he didn’t know what he was taking about, just kept on recommending the most inconvenient things and hung up the phone on me. HOW DARE HE!!! BTW if you go there his name is Gerry.
What ever happened to real sales people that is here to provide a service to their customer. Keep laughing Gerry I see a great future for you.
This store doesn’t even deserve a rating because of the manager. Ok so I have to rate it and even if it is one star just put a negative in front.

Incredibly rude customer service. Went to check out some of the mattresses featured in their advertisements. Was greeted at the door and pretty much hustled to a thousand+ dollar mattress. I asked about one of their more budget mattresses, and the sales representative laughed and said he wouldn’t even let his dog sleep on the mattress. I won’t shop here again.

I came here and the customer service was great. I was greeted, listened to, and taken care of. Every bed I was shown was shown to me to find the best bed for me, not to «upsell» to a more expensive brand. I don’t think I’ll be needing a new bed anytime soon since they just helped me find an awesome one, but to anyone else who needs a new bed, go HERE.

Went there the other day to buy another mattress Russ was not there older Korean guy was rude I went to pick up my mattress he was snotty from the get go when I got the mattress from the back room I wanted to make sure it was the same mattress he was rushing me to sign my name on the computer i said when I see it’s the same mattress I will he starting shaking his head all pissed off what a ass been buying mattress there since they open Russ please don’t take off no more

I was in and out within 20 minutes! Russ was a very genial and no hassle salesman. He had interesting insight to share that definitely helped me to choose my bed. Moreover, he had no sales push but instead gave good suggestions.
Russ gave me 40% off all my accessories and they even threw in a free pillow. He made the purchasing process painless and explained all of the minute details with ease and clarity. A+

TRUST SLEEPY’S FOR THE SCAM OF YOUR LIFE!!!
I was a customer for over twenty years until I dealt with Winnie the store manager and Jerry the salesman. They scammed me out of $ 300.00 and would do nothing to help me. I even asked to return my mattress because I was tired of going back to argue with both of them. They told me no I can’t do anything for you pay your bill or it will go against your credit. I WILL NEVER AND MY FAMILY WILL NEVER SHOP AT SLEEPY’S EVER AGAIN!!! Do not shop here unless you want to be a victim like I was.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I recently decided to purchase a new mattress and decided to go with my local Sleepy’s, the supposed «mattress professionals». I went in for the same type of mattress I already had because of the comfort, but was talked out of it by the salesperson. In the showroom the mattress was very comfortable but once it was delivered, it was harder than a rock. I called the showroom to complain and the phone rang off the hook. I finally went back in and they told me in order to get the one I originally wanted I would have to pay a $ 250 fee, which I refused to pay. Long story short, I am stuck with a crappy mattress and a migraine from dealing with these people. Sleepy’s customer service is absolutely terrible, and I will NEVER deal with them EVER again.

Sleepy’s is a tad shady.
I was told by other mattress retailers that Sleepy’s is a high pitch sales place that just tries to get their mattresses out the factory and into your bedroom… i believed it but had to check out Sleepy’s given that they have such a wide selection of beds to choose from AND i figured there’s no way i would let someone scam me into buying something no matter how good they were at «selling». I figured i’d go in, check out which bed was comfy and then try to buy it online or look for it cheaper elsewhere… little did i know…
First of all, mattress companies are shady because they are for some reason, allowed to make the same exact mattress but name it something different just to prevent people from price matching. How is that legal!!!
Okay, i’m getting off topic.
So i find a good bed at Sears and i tell the salesman at Sleepy’s. He tells me he could match their price on the same exact bed but throw in «free» shipping, meaning he’ll give me a $ 100 back in the form of a Visa gift card. I make sure to ask him if it’s no «fluff», no joke kind of $ 100 visa gift card because i’m wary. Of course he says «yeah» you can spend it anywhere and they’ll send it to me 2 weeks after i buy my mattress. And of course that «free» shipping is the kicker and so i buy the bed from Sleepy’s as opposed to the other store.
Two weeks later, i get this postcard in the mail from Sleepy’s and it’s this application for a gift card that can only be used at a few selected retailer AND in order to claim your gift card you HAVE to sign up to be on some mailing list for advertisers and they state on the postcard that they sell your information to companies AND have the right to release your information to other companies! i was pissed and thinking WTF! I could just see that guy thinking to himself «sucker» as i walked out of Sleepy’s. I was so mad and wanted to return my mattress but alas i stumbled upon another lie told to me by the salesman. He said that i could return my mattress, no hassle, no fee in the first 3 weeks if i wasn’t satisfied… nope. 10% restocking fee!
So here I am writing this review hoping that other’s don’t fall for the high pressured sales pitch and scam tactics from Sleepy’s. Tell him to give you $ 100 cash and maybe it’ll be worth it.

Very very bad experience. The manager sells the floor samples to us and did not tell us what he was doing. He charged the same money as the new ones.
After they made the deliver and we found out he was a lier. When we came back to him and asked for exchange. He did not commit and said we do not have the evidence. The only thing he can do is ask us for more money to exchange. What an ass hole!
