TONYMOLY

This review is for the stand TONYMOLY storefront inside the New World Mall. It is on the street level floor, by the Roosevelt Avenue entrance, across from the Haagen Dazs and the escalators. Enter from Roosevelt and take a right, it is two stores down. So, instead of buying TONYMOLY products from bootlegging shops, you can buy from the approved shop. It is interesting though, because this shop address is not listed on the official website — but whatevs.
For those that do not know the phenomenon that is TONYMOLY:
It is yet another Korean cosmetic brand that is known for having the most adorable packaging. Bottles and containers shaped like different fruits and adorable animals. The products are just fine compared to other brands and the same price point. I am hooked just like most other girls, on their cute packaging.

There are always special deals going on for face masks here. But, be careful, the pricing is not clearly noted like some of the other shops. I recommend looking at all of the shops, since they are all on the same street (Roosevelt). Then, after you look around and compare, go back and buy. I just buy randomly and in a rush, since I only come to NYC once a year and always end up spending more than I should have.
This brand is now carried at Urban Outfitters… I guess that nothing is sacred anymore. At UO, each item is about $ 2 more each because that is how they roll.
At this location, plenty of English is spoken and the staff speaks Mandarin with one another. I did not bother speaking Korean, since it was not necessary.
