This is hard core body scrubbing Korean bathhouse. I won’t call this spa. I cannot imagine non-​Koreans going there.
I am giving 2 stars because 1) it is run down. Fallen tile in one of the steam rooms (there are total of 3 rooms) 2) hot water bath tub is empty. The owner does not fill in water in order to save water. Do you believe that? What bath house doesn’t have bath tub filled with hot water?
I paid $ 50 for body scrubbing. I wasn’t planning on it but without hot water tub, I had no choice. This lady worked really hard. She scrubbed the heck out of my body until my body felt like butter. Everyone is super friendly. Place was nearly empty when I got there Saturday afternoon. You can eat food and watch TV. I wasn’t interested in watching TV or eating food. So those things meant very little to me.
I definitely choose Woori over Spa Castle. But not sure if I would come back.
