The phone number I got was getting from someone looking up for «locksmith.» As they sent a guy coming for my screen door lock-​out, he told me charging $ 150 for it. Then I said it was too much then he reduced to $ 120 and saying no less than that. He said he had to drill and take out the cylinder, then after taking out the cylinder, he said he would have to charge me $ 100 for changing a new cylinder. After he changing the new cylinder, the lock didn’t work and he said it was broken before. If it was broken, I didn’t even require him to take out the cylinder, I would have changed the whole lock myself already. He broke it for sure when drilling it. The lock was working perfectly before as all my family knew about that. Instead taking the responsibility that he had broken the lock, he said the lock was broken before. When I called him to come back to fix it, he said he will charge me again.
I already contact another other good local locksmith, and they told me the cylinder simply wasn’t installed properly or the guy broke it.
