I remember eating these yummy pork buns(4 for $ 1.50) almost a decade ago at this location which might’ve went through a change of ownership. The pork buns 猪肉包子 at Yummy Dim Sum are referred to Xiao Long Bao 小笼包…don’t ask me why but they are different from the Xiao Long Bao bedded on lettuce in those bamboo steamers. If you buy ‘em buns there, eat it right away because when that first bite into the bun juices from the pork rolls into your mouth *hubba hubba* reminds me of Shanghai eats 上海小吃. I also got a Scallion Pancake 葱油饼(each for a $ 1.00). Mama is so stuffed and I might just ate it too fast at my work desk!

Cheap and great food. They offer your usual fare, pork dumplings, steamed pork buns, mei fun, lo mein, scallion pancakes, sticky rice and chow fun. They are open early and close late. It is very small with a few tables, but their is always a stream of people ordering food throughout the day. They are busy but quick. The pork dumplings 4 for $ 1.25, the steamed pork buns 4 for $ 1.50, mei fun $ 1.50, lo mein $ 1.50, scallion pancake $ 1.00, sticky rice $ 2.00 and the chow fun $ 2.00. Not bad at all. It is very filling. It is conveniently located near the 7 train. So check it out.

Great chive boxes, veggie bun, noodles and other greasy, fatty snacks. Hubs loves their fluffy steamed pork buns and fried dumplings. The place is a dump, but everything is dirt-cheap and delicious.

All four of my dumplings had charred, crispy bottoms. That might sound like it isn’t a big deal, but it’s kind of a hard feat to accomplish when being doled out in high volumes and served out of steam trays. Dumplings were juicy on the inside, crunchy on the outside and perfect all around.

Its a hole in the wall place. It’s right off the 7 train and many bus stops. The dumplings are decent but there are better places around flushing. When I mean better, I’m talking about the shop next to the parking lot. The other food that I recommend are the pork bun and fish balls. The noodles and chow fun are just carbs stuffer with no seasoning. Its cheaply priced so money goes a long way. Most items are between $ 1.50 and $ 2. If you are going to buy multiple items, You can get fill easily but there are better quality food out there, especially in flushing. Its chinatown! FOODEVERYWHERE! This is a snack place, not worthy of a meal.

Steamed pork buns in the morning, steamed pork buns in the evening, steamed pork buns at supper time… yeah! 4 for $ 1.50, which is really 8 for $ 2.50, heh. I like cheap steamed pork buns. I like this place. I’ll be back.

This place is without a doubt the place to go for quick cheap food in Flushing Chinatown. Easily overlooked if not for the steady stream traffic entering and exiting the entrance, you may feel compelled to come inside, quickly followed by a feeling of being really intimidated coming in here if you’re not Chinese, as the amorphous mass of people is quickly attended to in a seemingly systematic order by a loud shouting lady behind the counter who doesn’t seem to know much English. Trust me, even through all of this, it’s worth trying to come in and put in an order for some food. The food, which is good, and the cost of it, which is insanely cheap, most likely cannot be matched anywhere around. It’s not quite the conventional dim sum that most people think of, but it technically all still qualifies. For such a small place, and for the speed of the service, I wouldn’t expect for such a sizable menu or such good food. Amazingly(or maybe not, since they’re good) the selection that they have available is only the good stuff that people want to order. I thought I would rattle off a few items that I really liked here, but then I realized I would have gone through over half the menu! Really, just try anything here. Anything. Seriously. It’s all good. I can’t think of another place I’d recommend if you’re just looking to grab a fast cheap meal while you’re on the go. It’s even right next to the subway station, for crying out loud. Convenience food to the extreme, that’s what this place is.

This is as good as cheap dim sum goes. I usually go for the pork and chive dumplings that are 4/$ 1.25. They could be fried a little more but I’ve learned to refry them once I get those babies home. You can’t go wrong!

I’ll endure this morning cluster fk for the prices and the food quality. I don’t know where they source their ingredients from, but it is quite amazing what they do given the prices. The dumplings are 4 for 1.25. That’s right, coworkers! I eat 8 dumplings in the morning because it only costs me 2.50!

As a Mta bus operator for the queens lines that end there runs here, I see a lot of people coming and going in this place. Since I’m not afraid to try new things I’ve been coming here every Sunday on my lunch break. Just trying the fried pork dumplings and now I’m into the pork buns. It’s really good the price is cheap to can’t go wrong …

This place is the best joint for cheap eats in Flushing. As someone born and raised here for many years there’s one thing you learn: the hole in the walls are usually the best places to eat at. Seating is limited but don’t let that turn you off. The staff are friendly, your money goes a long way here and there’s plenty of things to choose from. The pork dumplings, the rice cakes and scallion cakes were delicious, hot and fresh. All together it was under 7 dollars, trust that can’t be beat. Plus seating and eating with strangers is fun. Remember, bring cash only unless you want to go to the many ATM’s at chase, citi or TD Bank

DONOTUNDERESTIMATETHISHOLEINTHEWALL! Yes, this place is small, tight, and very hot inside with NOAC in the Summer time, but the food is pretty cheap and taste pretty average. Most of the items are below $ 3! This is usually my go-to-spot for a quick and light dinner. I must give the staff props for working in such a hot enviroment and always fulfilling my hungry tummy! Mix and match your order: — – Steamed Brown Sugar Plain Buns = MYFAV! — – Scallion Pancakes — – Rice cakes — – STICKYRICE = MYFAV! — – Steamed Pork Buns — – Tea Eggs — – Dumplings — – Mei Fun — – Lo Mein — – Spring Rolls TIP: Order take-out! It is super busy inside. NOTE: CASHONLY!

Small place with two tables inside that sells typical Chinatown street food. They have the usual stuff like tea eggs, dumplings, scallion pancakes, spring rolls, soy bean milk, lo mein, and pork buns. They also have a few things on their menu that are not as common — sticky rice, red bean pancake, and glutinous rice. This place tends to be busy, so the food here is pretty fresh. The pork buns were especially fluffy and juicy. Everything on their menu is 25 cents to 50 cents higher than these sort of establishments usually charge, but I can spare the change!

I come here only because it is the closes and easy location to get steamed pork buns for $ 1.50 for 4 buns. I sometime get their fried thin noodles and thick noodles for $ 1.50 a small box. They sell simple Chinese breakfast foods and also yummy potato starch noodles. Seating is limited and most likely you will have to share a table with strangers. This place is small and during the winter they close their door so the smell of food gets trapped, so be warn leaving the place smelling like food. Becareful of getting skipped in line while waiting to order. People will cut in front of you and order before you could. You have to be pushy and know what to order. The fried noodles aren’t so sodium heavy which is what I preferred. The steamed pork buns sometimes have too much dough so it feels chewy and sometimes they make it right and the dough is just the right thinkness. It is always a gamble on what you get. The size of the steamed pork buns are not too small and very filling. Overall it is a quick shop to get breakfast on the go and for those nights you are too lazy to cook and just want a buffet of small little dim sums for a very affordable price.

Unassuming, small, and delicious, just how a dim sum takeout place should be. Inexpensive and delightful. Picture women wearing white headscarves tending to enormous, steaming baskets of buns, bustling about behind the just-finished food in sneeze-proof glass displays. There are several small tables and chairs crammed against the other wall, with probably more tables than is needed for the space. Not sure how busy it gets but I don’t imagine there would be much a wait during mealtimes. Do stop by. I’m not actually sure why I gave it 4 out 5 stars, but I’ll go back and find out.

They sell a lot of good cheap food. The dumplings taste like any other fried dumpling. It has a good amount of filling but i wish it was fried more. This is the only place I can find that sells homemade sticky rice which is odd. You figured more hole in the walls in flushing would have sticky rice but I haven’t found any yet. You really can’t go wrong with anything else they offer, they all taste average. Nothing exceptional but at the same time nothing bad either. At times there is a mad rush in this place but you never have to wait long to get your food. There are only two tables so if you sit and eat, you need to share. The place feels very dirty but you can’t really give it a negative review based on that as every other place similar to this is in the same boat. Small and cramped seems to be the theme in places like this so my review is for the food only.

Dumpling craving hits me at the most unusual of moments. Late at night. Early in the morning. Just being in downtown flushing. This is a good place for a quick dumpling stop but there are a few others places in flushing that are better and less crowded than this one. This place can be sometimes packed like an elephant in short shorts because of its proximity to the train station with no rhyme or reason to the line or ordering system. Wave one of the people down with money in your hand strip club style that usually helps. I usually come here when I am in a hurry for some food to grab and bring to work. They have different noodles and steamed buns besides the pan fried dumplings and even hot and sour soup. They sell the sticky rice that I like that looks like a tube of rice wrapped in plastic. I think its wrapped in plastic to retain the shape and the inside of the sticky rice is a fried cruller with pork floss and pickled veggies which I used to get a lot in chinatown but that place is now closed. Nice snack that fits in your hand like an asian candy bar but not really but you can eat it that way. If you come late at night though more often than not they are just trying to get rid of what they couldn’t sell that day and the dumplings may be cold so I suggest an afternoon visit. Dumplings have a decent filling but they don’t seem to be sealed properly and sometimes bust open and not seared enough but will satisfy that dumpling craving. This is cheap food after all not a five star restaurant. Don’t forget to use the vinegary soy sauce and of course they have the best hot sauce in the world– sriracha! Also the usual soy products in the nearby fridge. Best way to cool down from that sriracha is with some cold soy milk. Only two small tables though. Be prepared to share a spot with strangers.

I don’t know about you but before this place I never knew potato starch noodles even existed! I’m told the soup is made from pork bone and it’s very fragrant and yummy lol. This bowl of noods have such a nice blend of everything and they always make it fresh. Of course if you say«jung fung mi» they might be warmer to you because they’re wenzhounese =D These days I like to add more veggies and less noodles. …watching them calories =P
