Duffy Piano Moving And Storage

i inherited an antique piano that had to be moved within 2 weeks. Because the move was out of state, Carrie at Duffy Piano recommended I store the piano in their climate controlled warehouse until their delivery truck was headed to my state. This saved me $ 450. Carrie was easy to work with, and delivered on all her commitments. When my piano arrived, it took the very professional staff of 3 gentlemen a matter of minutes to bring the piano into the house. Afterwards, one of the men recommended how I could care for the finish and remove some very old scratches. This company sets the standard for superior customer service.

Duffy’s Piano Movers are the best!!! if you live in the PA, NJ, NY, DE and DC area there is no one that can compete with their professionalism, and quality of work. I contracted them to move three Baby grand pianos, over the last 10 years, their price estimate is always better than any of the competitors and their service quality always top notch.
I highly recommend this company and I am sure Ill continue to do business with them for years to come.

Completely understand why these guys get 5 star ratings across the board. I acquired a piano for free and it needed to be picked up by 3pm today. I called Duffy’s yesterday and they were fully booked but squeezed me in. They called last night to confirm the delivery window, arrived well within the timeframe, and helped me find the best place for my new-​to-​me piano. One of the guys even belted out a little tune on it. Totally professional, customer-​service oriented, and friendly! I would use them again, should I want to set up a dueling piano situation in my house.

Couldn’t be happier. They moved an older baby grand for us from a difficult house to our home 50 miles away. They were on time, pleasant and helpful. When I initially inquired via e-​mail, I got a quick response within an hour or so. They called the night before to give us a window and were right on time. I would highly, highly recommend. I can’t say enough, and I’m not easy to please. Excellent!

Duffy’s moved an upright piano into my home and my experience with them was great. They arrived ahead of schedule and were very careful getting the piano in the door — I have a narrow entry with stairs right behind the door, so it’s a tight turn into the living room. They were able to get the piano in without a scratch. Setting up the appointment with them was easy, they were very responsive, and the move happened within a week of my call to them. I will use them again the next time I move.

Duffys moved a heavy antique piano from south Jersey to Philadelphia. They were absolutely great– totally competent and very pleasant. It was a tough job since there are stairs at the destination and they handled it with absolute professionalism and great good humor. I have absolutely no hesitation about recommending them to anyone who needs a piano moved.

Duffys piano movers were able to move my piano from my childhood home to my new home (about an hour apart) within a weeks notice. They called the night before with a time window and were even ahead of schedule which worked out great for us! They just keep getting better! Last week I used them for the third time in 20 years and as usual they did a terrific job. Led by Kevin Duffy, the team of three carefully handled my 500lb+ baby grand with an ease and efficiency that never ceases to amaze me. Courteous, efficient and on time — what else can you wish for? Oh, and there are the tremendously reasonable prices too!!!

They are awesome. I bought my wife a used Steinway grand piano and needed it moved from the sellers apartment, stored for 3 months and then moved to Jersey City, NJ up into a second floor.
I spoke to 3 different piano restorers in my process of finding the piano and they recommended Duffy. They aren’t guys that can bench press 300 lbs, but great at what they do. Absolutely professional in every way. Moving pianos is about leverage and making sure not to ding corners, walls and most importantly the PIANO.
I was there watching them throughout the whole process… slow and steady… they didn’t nick a wall or corner the whole time. After they brought it in, they actually helped touch up some of the nicks that were there beforehand. So, in some ways, the piano is now in better condition than it was before they took it.
Kevin, Mike and KJ did a superb job. This is a fourth generation family run business and their rates are MORE than fair. They only move and store pianos… they don’t try to tune or restore or sell piano stuff. They move and store and do it better than anyone else we could have found.
We’re absolutely impressed and won’t use anyone else if we ever move our Steinway again.

These guys are the best. I have used them three times to move my piano into a variety of situations. into a small row home, out of a small row home and into a second floor apartment up several flights of stairs. I am constantly amazed at how quickly and safely they are able to maneuver my piano. They are always on time, friendly, professional and the prices are very reasonable.
