Feels good on the patio. The wine is cold and today is just warm enough to appreciate a cool spot.

I have lived here for 4 years and just found this place from a friend. Absolutely wonderful food and worth every penny. I have had the mufelatta and chocolate cannoli. Yum! Also tried the mushroom caps which were free mushrooms. The salads you can’t go wrong. On my list as a must go… Weekly.

Great little place with very good food. All of the staff was very friendly. We had salad and spaghetti which were both excellent then followed it up with gelato. I read other reviews so we decided to give it a try. Glad we stopped!

This little place is delicious! I ordered the Turkey roasted pepper panini and it was yummy, and a large serving! I couldn’t eat it all! My husband got the philly cheese steak wrap and Greek salad and they were both very tasty too. This is a great place to eat that is away from the business of peak season at the beach.

Great food. Great service. Decent prices. Be forewarned: if you order water, you have to buy a bottle. They do not offer tap water over ice for free. It’s their restaurant, they can do what they want.
So far I’ve had the turkey, bacon, cheddar panini, the stuffed pepper, the Mediterranean salad and the strawberry cheesecake (not on the same day!) and was very satisfied with all of it. Especially the stuffed red pepper. And the cheesecake! Oh, we also tried the Oreo balls and the peanut butter balls. They did not suck. And now that they are open on Saturdays, we will be dining on the weekends yay

Our group elected to stop here on the way out of town for a quick treat. The atmosphere is very casual. The gelato was absolutely delicious! I only wished they had a milk & honey option. We each selected different flavors to get a variety. There were none we did not like!

a simple mix up occurred when we ordered and when the incorrect dishes were brought the owner argued about it and spent the rest of our time there complaining about us. Really uncomfortable experience and we regretted coming in.
The food was actually really good.

So I fell in love with this place, which is part gelato shop, part bakery, part Italian restaurant. I rarely eat italian food even though I’m ¼ Italian and have very close Italian relatives and was raised on amazing Italian food. Mainly because it’s very rich and adds a lot to my waistline haha. BUT, this place is very authentic and I love the variety and atmosphere. The gelato was great and they had hard to find spumoni which was great. A ton of great flavored all delicious (including chocolate hazelnut and strawberry cheesecake.) I didn’t eat on this visit, we thought we were just stopping at a gelato shop. Can’t wait to visit again next time we’re in the area. It’s not too far from interstate and it’s worth the drive.

Delicious food. I had eggplant parm it was the best I have ever had with ricotta between the slices. My husband had the chicken parm. He is fussy with the gravy as he is Italian and he loved this. Huge portions. And the waitress Julie Ann is just so helpful and friendly and attentive. We can’t wait to come back for the delicious desserts and gelato. The Italian bread is so yummie. And Joe is the friendliest guy. This will be our Italian restaurant here in foley as we have just moved here, have tried others in the area. Trust me this is authentic Italian. You won’t be sorry eating here.

Amazing place! The staff was extremely friendly! The prices on both food and drinks are reasonably priced. We ordered their fried mushrooms with our drinks and they were amazing! We loved this place and definitely recommend it to anyone who visits here!

I can’t comment on the food, because I didn’t even try it. The service was rude, they don’t accept plastic for anything under $ 10 (seriously — who carries cash anymore?), and the food didn’t appear any more «fresh» than from an automat in a Greyhound Bus station. I stopped in because of the reviews and menu found here on Unilocal,and because I was craving a muffaletta. What I was presented with was a refrigerated case filled with cellophane-​wrapped, who knows WHEN they were made sandwiches. No thanks. I’ll find FRESH food served POLITELY elsewhere.

We stopped in here about 2pm after several hours at the outlet. I didn’t want food court food and I had seen this highly reviewed.
First. Go inside. It can look eclectic from the outside. Is it a bar? A small grocery? Restaurant? Yes. It’s all. You walk in to be greeted by dessert. Is there a better way to walk in to anywhere? No. There isn’t.
We were starving so we got a couple of apps and food. The fried ravioli was perfect. The food came out very fast. My daughter got ravioli in pesto and the pesto was definitely homemade. My husband got eggplant and he got the biggest piece of eggplant I have ever seen served somewhere. Even my toddlers’ grilled cheese was huge. A third of the food came home. Our only complaint was my husbands «Greek» salad was more like a regular salad with some Greek dressing on it. And they were out of steak so I couldn’t order my first choice. But those are small things.
Dessert. We were so full that dessert had to come home. But the cannoli looked amazing. And they serve a bushwacker ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. Just something to keep in mind.

So happy we discovered gelato joes. we were impressed with the display of food choices, the specials offered. the friendliness of the staff and most of all… the very delicious food. Had to fight the urge to indulge in one of their home-​made desserts.

Good food over all!

Nice little diner tucked away in Foley, that has a wide variety of gelato flavored. The children had a good time deciding. After they were seated, the adults enjoyed bushwhackers. Not bad for the price and not over the top like some on the beach. Although we didn’t eat lunch, I would like to go back and try some of their sandwiches or pasta dishes.

Well you can’t judge a book by its cover and you can’t judge a restaurant by the trash out its side door.
We pulled up to this place in desperate need of some food. I took one look at the building, noticed some things that didn’t seem too eye appealing, and started to put the car in reverse. The thought of searching for another unique restaurant on an empty stomach suddenly stopped me. We decided to just go in and risk the food poisoning.
Inside was a pleasant surprise! The deli/​café feel was unique and the atmosphere was clean and relaxing.
We ordered and were very impressed by the warmness of the ladies behind the counter who seemed to be cooking in between taking orders.
After getting our food and taking a seat we were repeatedly asked if our food was good and if there was anything they could do for us. They seemed to genuinely care.
The food was delicious. We got a chicken marsala with spaghetti and one of their many panini sandwiches. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try their gelato or other deserts but they looked inviting.
Overall it was a great place to eat. Very unique, has a laid back café feel, and the food feels like it came straight from an Italian home.

Excellent dinner and server. Super friendly! Great sized portions and a very reasonable price. Will be back and would recommend for anyone including families with children. Winner winner

Had business in Foley and decided to stop in after seeing the reviews. Great little place, great food, great service. Had the turkey, spinach & provolone panini, Waldorf salad & got a cannoli. The reviews are spot on. A must try. Definitely recommend & will be back.

One of the best dining experiences that we had in the Gulf Shores area. The food was fresh and high quality and the staff was friendly and attentive.
We had and would recommend the Feast for two. We got to try three of their Italian dishes, soup, salad and some of the most amazing canolis I have ever had.
