Always love the food! The service is friendly and accomodating with ONE exception. There is a male bartender that is totally obnoxious. When you have a big crowd on a Monday night in South Alabama and the bartender is a loud mouthed Clemson fan you should probably have taken the night off OR keep your mouth shut and know your audience. To make matters worse the same bartender was drunk, loud and obnoxious at the bar IN the place he works. JJ is awesome and runs a great place with amazing food but this dude is spoiling it. Saturday smoked burgers, chicken wings and chips are a can’t miss.

First time here. Had the pulled chicken sandwich. Nicely seasoned, coleslaw was just right. Picked up my sandwich and it fell apart. No biggie, used a fork. I’ll come back.

My family and I were actually planning on going to Lambert’s for lunch one day and it was absolutely packed and I am glad it was because then we wouldn’t have eaten at Moe’s. My wife found this place on Unilocal and when we realized it was just down the street we decided to give it a try. The place seems fairly new — it is very clean inside with a large dining room, open space, and lots of flat screens with multiple sporting events going on. You order up at the counter and they have your typical BBQ menu with a lot of delicious desserts such as banana pudding and an oreo pudding combo that is heavenly. The food was delivered to us quickly and it was pretty good quality. I am very happy we stopped into Moe’s and next time we head back down to Gulf Shores I wouldn’t mind checking it out again.

Much needed in the area. Fun place with great bbq. The wings are awesome and there’s a great draft beer selection. The bushwhackers are really good. There was live music playing(Saturday) and he was very entertaining. Hope to make it to trivia or bingo. Just a fun place to hang out and eat. Only downside was the employee taking orders. She seemed annoyed to be there and wasn’t very friendly. Other than that everything was great We’ll be back for sure! Tip: Go on a Saturday when the farmer’s market is going on across the street. Pretty lively in a usually quiet spot.

Brisket was Wed. Special. They were out before 6.00. When asking cashier her attitude was could care less. Ok so we got the special with their famous fries and they were cold. Second time there and hoping it would be better than first but it wasn’t. I’ll just go to the sure thing next door(Wolf Bay) next time. Disappointed :(

The front person took my order wrong. Got my meal and the ribs were cold and extremely chewy. Won’t be going back.

Excellent, attentive service and spot on food. There are plenty of «bbq» joints that sell overcooked, dry, bland bbq but NOT Moes. The meat is cooked perfect, with the right amount of seasonings, and left with plenty of juices to keep it from seeming as if you are eating a bucket of saw dust. The pulled pork sandwich was on point, and the fried shrimp were the best i have ever had in a restaurant(seasoned well and not bland). Would give 5 stars if the cocktails were decently sized. They are smalllllllll, and arent very cheap unfortunately. Overall, definitely recommend.

Awesome environment and really great bbq. I had the pulled pork sandwich with mac cheese and baked beans, all delicious. Also had some fat tire on tap!

My family of 5 enjoyed a great meal. My daughter had the ribs, my wife and I had the pulled pork and my boys shared wings. All met our expectations. The chips and pimento dip was very tasty. The only thing that was a bit of a let down was the Mac n’ cheese. I am a bit of a mac n’ cheese snob so I have high expectations but it was still good enough to scrape the bowl. Definitely make the stop on the way to the beach! And if you are lucky you will catch the farmer’s market right out front.

Near the Tanger outlet our family of four had a great dinner on June 6th2015. My wife and I had the pulled pork combo Alabama Style with really good greens and potato salad. My youngest loved the chicken wings. We all ate dinner for around $ 40. My wife usually does not eat her whole sandwich but said«It is so good I can’t resist». Would come back again for sure. Great BBQ and atmosphere.

Delicious food and service was excellent. The cashier even let my picky four year old have a sample of their chips to see if he liked them before we ordered. My new favorite place for BBQ!

Great place for Bar B Que! This place just opened up last week and it already had repeat customers! We were brought here by a family member who had eaten here the day before and wanted to share his«find» with us. And another interesting tidbit is that another family member kept saying they had some excellent ribs in their fridge and we should eat them! Come to find out, the ribs were from here! From my recollection, I think there is no paved parking lot, but there are painted lines over gravel to park on. In this same area is the Coastal Alabama Farmers & Fishermen’s Market in Foley. I love the Vegas-style sign with the arrow on the side if the building! At night, when it is lit up, it is probably really cool and would add to the feel of this place! It is fixed up like a lot of BBQ joints. How to: The way to order is at the counter. Then you pay for your items. You are given a placard with a number on it and you place it on your table. Before you know it, a server will bring your order to you. ** Be sure to look in the crock pot by the soda machine for some warm BBQ Sauce. Grab a bottle to have at your table. You can order platters, some have have plenty of food for 2 people, but I think is geared toward one hearty eater! I had some ribs, collard greens, and mac n cheese. The ribs were excellent with a nice smokey flavor. The collard greens were not at all bitter and were sweet, which is not how I’ve generally had them. The mac n cheese was very dry, maybe over-baked? My brother-in-law had it the day before and said they were way better than the ones we were eating. If I got the mac n cheese this way again, I would skip it. Other family members ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Platter, three meat plate with smoked chicken, smoked turkey, and wings. All I kept hearing was how awesome the turkey was! Sounds like a must try item! I am from the West Coast and I was amused by two of the«sides» that can be chosen for your«sides» with your meal. These are desserts to me, but they are considered sides here. The two choices are Banana Puddin’ & Oreo Chocolate Puddin’. It’s actually a good option if you only want one«side» and a «dessert». They also have Gluten Free Items and Dairy Free Items. Moe’s offers large party takeout orders and full service catering with delivery. I would recommend giving this place a try! Try it, you’ll probably more than like it!
