I walked into this store for my first time ever a few weeks ago while shopping for a bridesmaid dress. The sales-lady was kind of incredible. I didn’t find a dress that I liked here, but I really admired her attempts to help find me one. She even offered to walk next door to see the competing dress that I told her I was probably going to end up buying. The one dress that I did like didn’t come in my size, and she tried to reassure me that the sizes were different here, so maybe a size down would fit. Of course I had to try it on because, you know, being a size smaller than I thought I was would make my whole day but, no such luck. Pretty sure that was actually just a valiant effort to make a sale on her part. I love the store, and the dresses, and the fitting rooms, and the cleanliness and organization, and I even mostly loved the employees. What I did not appreciate was that when I told her about all of the requirements for my dress, she shook her head and said, «Girls getting married these days are such tyrants.» I’m a bridesmaid, so, it probably stands to reason that I am fond of the girl getting married, right? Maybe let’s not put her down when money that ultimately goes towards her wedding is on the line. Other than that little slip, though, great store. They had some of the cutest dresses I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ll be sure to come back some day when I’m rich and famous.

Have been coming here for a few years now, it is one of the spots that I usually stop at when I’m at the Folsom Outlets. This outlet store has various racks of clearance items that range anywhere from $ 9 to $ 109 and upwards. You can still purchase a silk dress marked down to $ 271 that originally cost $ 388. In fact, I did purchase that dress. But only paid $ 29 for it. Seems that it was JUST moved to the $ 29 section as the guy who rang me up said that he recently helped a customer who paid $ 271 for it. Total score. I avoid their handbags as I haven’t had good luck with them, but I like the styles and cuts here of the clothing. It’s not huggy, clingy/blingy like BeBe and a lot more sophisticated.

Like the BCBG Final Cut at this outlet mall, BCBG is probably the best one I’ve been to so far. To prove my point, a couple tops that I purchased here for $ 19 and $ 29 were going for $ 10-$ 20 more at the Vacaville Premium Outlet– on the same day! A dress that I purchased here for $ 49 was about $ 30 more as well. Not fair at all, especially since the Vacaville location is much closer to me. Booo.

I don’t know if it is because of the troubled economy, but this place has totally gone downhill. I just visited today and was truely disappointed. There used to be racks and racks full of a variety of cute tops and dresses, now it seems as if there are less racks, and less to choose from. I saw 4 or 5 racks with the same item in 3 or 4 different colors. There were hardly any dresses, and what dresses were there were really ugly. There was a really great SA(skinny, short platinum hair I think) who was always very helpful and cheerful, now it seems she has been replaced by this dark-haired, solemn, indifferent person who did not bother to acknowledge anyone in the store. She just rushed around tidying(what she was tidying, I don’t know, because the place was immaculate), trying to look busy and avoiding eye contact. Going in there today was a waste of my time.

If you come here at the right time you will find unbelievable bargains. I once found a full length evening dress here that retailed for around $ 200 when it was first released but I paid $ 40 for it. I go to this location every time I need to find a nice dress. They also have great sales, last I checked it was 70% off. The staff is always very friendly and informative about their current promotions the moment you walk in the door.
