We stopped because we just wanted frozen yogurt. We had raspberry vanilla with walnuts and peanut butter and chocolate with peanuts. Hit the spot!

I am so annoyed with Folsom Big Spoon… Had to walk out. Finally hit my limit with them. I love their yogurt and most of their employees are awesome but there are a couple I have encountered/several issues in the past but tonight another«newbie» I haven’t seen before. So it goes… the 4 oz for $ 1 offer on Wednesday’s… I found out tonight MUST be in 4 oz styrofoam cup to get the $ 1 deal. I suppose because we are(were) regulars with our kids and the crew recognizes us, they have never said anything when it’s not in the«4 oz» cup. We were always charged $ 1 for first 4 oz and regular price for what goes over. Tonight when I was informed of this rule., The 4 oz cups are not with the other cups, how was I to know I had to get a 4 oz cup from the cashier(or that one existed) And you are not offered a 4 oz cup for the special upon entering, nor is there a sign that states in order to receive the 4 oz offer you must use the 4 oz cup. The ad states… «Big Spoon Yogurt Don’t forget tomorrow is #onedollarwednesday! Enjoy your favorite 4 oz. #froyo creation for only $ 1! #frozenyogurt. You would think for good customer service you would at least let it go this time but please in the future… As usual when trouble strikes…(Yes not the first time there) They stare at you like a deer in the headlights. I am not understanding why I am not receiving the special she just keeps repeating what I owe when I am clearly explaining how can that be with the $ 14 oz special? If this had been the first or second(maybe 3rd) I could let it go but no… They have screwed up my gift cards handing me back one with a zero balance because it was confused with another next to the register… Another time I was told my balance is zero when in fact I know it isn’t and sure enough next time I use it, there is a balance(happened more than once). I had a major deer in headlights issue when using two coupons. One was mine. One my daughters. Simple… Ring them up separately but I wanted to pay. Could not understand. Finally had to walk her through it and Hand the money to my daughter for her and the kids upon her turn to pay. I understand these are kids with their first job but man is it frustrating to experience this and they don’t seem to get math let alone customer service. Whew. Ok. Thanks for letting me vent.

Oh what fun!!! Salted caramel with assorted yummies and a worm on top! Very nice staff person and clean, friendly shop! Our first time and not a bad nick $ at all! We’ll be back!!!

One of the best frozen yogurt places I’ve been to! They’re all(obviously) very similar but I was actually really impressed by this place. I wish I remembered the girl’s name who was working so I could give her credit, but I forgot. Right as we walk in, we were greeted. I track every meal I eat, so I asked her for a nutritional guide if possible. She was super helpful and grabbed it immediately. They had multiple non fat flavors, and I ended up getting some mango sorbet which was delicious. Topping selection is slightly larger than most places as well. Thank you for the great experience and we will definitely be back soon!

Can be dirty and gross at times, but customer care is usually upbeat, and product and variety is great!

When this place first opened, it was nice, and we enjoyed going there. We used to be regular customers, but it has steadily gone downhill over the past few months. The place is ALWAYS dirty, the yogurt has almost a runny consistency(which is almost melted if you take it home), they are constantly out of things(especially the yummy whipped cream!), the trash cans are ALWAYS overflowing(I was there again today at 11:30am and you’d think since it was so soon after opening for the day, that the trash cans would be empty, but NO!), and there’s just a bunch of unhelpful, apathetic kids that seem to be working there who don’t want to do anything to help or most importantly, keep the place clean and presentable. Shame on the owners who let things get this bad. Today was the final straw for me. I won’t be going back again. I will stick to the pristine, firm yogurt of NuYo, which leaves this place in the dust!

It’s all about what goes on top! I Luv Big Spoon. Their Yogurt is good and they offer a wide variety of flavors from week to week, but the toppings are their best feature. They have a wide variety of toppings from sauces like Peanut Butter & Chocolate to various candies to sprinke on top. Big Spoon bakes homemade cookies and they whip cream is to die for! You can make your yoguart as big or small… it’s all about your personal desire. I do think Big Spoon is over-priced, but if you bring competitor coupons they will match(what Ice cream store does that!!!) Generally speaking the store is pretty clean; however after a big group of kids come through you can find counters in disarray. The staff is always friendly and helpful; you’re generally greated at the door with an offer to sample which is always fun! Overall, I luv big Spoon. They always come through on the menu.

Just Gross. I took my family there last night for the 1st time. We are big Yogurt fans and like to try new places. While they have more toppings than any other place I have seen, the place was dirty with the counters full of spilled toppings… the whipped cream was empty, and the floor was sticky. In addition, they only have 4 — 6 flavors and the yogurt was not even that good. We will never go back.

1st and last visit to this sticky-spoon! Came in mid-day on a school day. There were a few people in the shop — letting their young children run wild. The staff was chatting with one another behind the counter. The counter was messy and unattractive. The floor was sticky everywhere I tried to walk. ICK!!! There was nothing about the place that made me want to purchase or eat anything they had to offer. Walked out — without a greeting or a fare-the-well from the staff.

The most awesome froyo place I’ve been to so far! The number of toppings available is mind-boggling, and the flavor choice is also pretty decent(6 at a time, with 4 flavors of the week + vanilla + chocolate). And don’t forget, Wednesdays have specials — up to 6oz(I think) for some ridiculously small price :)

My wife and I love Big Spoon Yogurt. When we want a sweet treat, its the place to go. I always get the vanilla and I add the fresh black berries, raspberries and strawberries. Its a fruity delight. Yumm! Oh and I top it off with some graham cracker dusting. Try it.

OK! I’ve been to all the fro-yo places in town & this one is my & hubby’s FAVE. Maybe because it was the first one we went to? I dunno… I always feel welcome here, it’s clean, & have any topping I could want(plus a million more). Only time it’s been a little bit of disarray is when a bunch of kids have been in… but they seem pretty on top of keeping it clean/neat. Anyway, that SHOULD be something their PARENTS are dealing with first & foremost(not usually happening for some god forsaken reason). I really think Big Spoon has a LOT to do with me sticking to my diet(I know I can occasionally have a TASTY chocolate treat here… usually Wed. mini night). Without Big Spoon I seriously doubt I’d still be on my diet, let alone successful(32 lbs. down in just under 4 mos.). Not that you can go all-out & expect that to happen… but you CAN have a treat now & again like everyone else, without the guilt of «blowing» your diet if you stick to reasonable portions, fat free yogurt, and a small amount of toppings. Enjoy it everyone… thank goodness SUMMERWEATHERISHEREATLAST& that only makes this cool treat that much more crave– able!!!

This place has fallen off. The past couple times I’ve been there, the place is thrashed and I don’t know what they did to the yogurt but it definitely doesn’t taste the same. I think it’s a sloppy attempt at saving money(maybe they switched vendors). Either way, I avoid this place now.

I thought it a bit funny that most of the reviews of this place were from folks not living in Folsom or El Dorado Hills. Who cares right? It’s yogurt. there are bunches of toppings. It’s in a cool spot for kids to get a little out of control outside. It’s on the bike path and you can work off your«healthy» yogurt that you topped with crushed up Butterfingers and gummy worms. Soft-serv. Pull your own lever. You get the picture.

Located right in the back of the Parkway shopping plaza lies a Big Spoon yogurt. Big Spoon is a Sacramento based froyo franchise with about 9 Sacramento locations so far and growing. The look and feel of Big Spoon is more of a traditional ice cream shop rather than the modern and hip froyo lounges that’s seem to be the standard. They are pay per oz. About 6 standard flavors available from tart to more traditional. — Strawberry banana — Original tart — a little runny, and a little bit more sweet than tart — milk chocolate — Very strawberry —- I can’t remember the other flavors but I’m so used to having to choose from 12+ flavors everywhere I go in the bay that 6 seemed like the bare minimum. They do have a root bear float station, which was cool. I didn’t make one but at least that was something I haven’t seen before Standard toppings apply but some of the fruit didn’t look too fresh. The toppings that did catch my eye were the warm pie fillings flavors — apple, cherry, strawberry. This was really good and gave an a-la-mode spin on froyo. What’s the deal with the no air conditioning? Or at least it wasn’t turned on? Oh, and they close at 11pm everyday.

I am SO in love with this place. Every topping I can dream of and then some. And moderately priced. When I’m having an «I don’t care about calories» day, I head here and indulge!

I’d love to work at this place. All you have to do is count money and press a bunch of buttons. The AMAZING yogurt is all self-serve, the toppings are self-serve, and once you get to the register, you just plop your little confection onto a scale, and hand the local high schooler/stoner your preferred method of payment.(Whoever came up with this concept-I want to shake your hand.) Last time I went, I had the sugar-free strawberry, which, to my surprise, did NOT at all resemble most sugar-free frozen yogurts I’ve tasted(usually, you can notice the difference in texture). Willy Wonka himself couldn’t come up with more toppings than what Big Spoon has to offer. My only gripes are 1) they have one of those spray-sanitizers set up on one of the walls so the whole place can smell like a urinal cake when it goes off, and 2) there aren’t any in San Francisco yet!

A friend recommended Big Spoon Yogurt so I stopped by. It’s great — it’s all self-serve. You can pile on as much yogurt and toppings as you like and then it’s weighed at the end. They even have root beer there to make root beer floats! My favorite frozen-yogurt flavor is the tart plain yogurt flavor and I dare I say that I like Big Spoon plain flavor better than Pinkberry’s original plain flavor! It’s also a great hang-out/meeting place since they are open 11 am to 11 pm every day! Check it out. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
