About 80% of my childhood revolves around this place… From it having a playground, to a baseball field, to tennis and basketball courts, there is a little bit of something for everyone. On a recent trip back to the east coast, I stopped here to visit a friend who was here with his children. I was surprised to see how empty it was; the majority of the people go to Hammonton Park during the day. That keeps the Borough Field a pretty well kept secret!!! They’ve put a lot of money into the baseball field recently. From an electronic scoreboard, to stadium lights, to enclosed dug-outs, its a great place to play. The park has lots of parking on the street around it, or you can always park at the church next door… Though, I’m sure they wouldn’t be too thrilled with me suggesting that, but who goes to church these days any way??? I’ve spent a lot of time here playing softball, climbing trees, and playing squish the lemon(best game EVER!), and encourage parents to allow their children to do the same!!!
