I feel kind of weird writing a review about a convenience store, but here goes. They are a store, and they are convenient. They have pretty much every kind of Rockstar or Monster you could hope for. Sometimes they go on sale 2/$ 4 or even 2/$ 3. Sometimes they have a good selection of Deep River chips, but it’s kind of hit or miss. Sometimes they have Barefoot wine on sale for $ 6. Their nacho cheese pump puts out like one quarter ounce of cheese per pump. If you like lots of cheese, you will be standing there for a while, but no one has ever complained to me about how many pumps I’ve used so far. Then again, I’ve only gotten the nachos two or three times. The clerks are pretty cool, but I may very well be biased because I’ve been coming here forever and they probably recognize me. They are a mediocre level of clean. The floor is usually dirty.

Little hole in the wall run down ish convenient store but always stocked with seemingly fresh food and dust free drinks. Their coffee selection is great and always plenty of different flavors. Service is par. Not too friendly but not rude. Prices are typical.

For real a 4 star review on a Circle K, for me growing up Circle K’s and 7 – 11 were mortal enemies engaged in a death match, If a 7 – 11 opened up on block a Circle K would open up soon enough either kitty corner or the corner down! Essentially they were twins one in the same, one with one badge the other with the other! Ultimately 7 – 11 dominated this contest and Circle K went bankrupt! Well it seems Circle K has been lying dormant long enough and has come back with a ferocity! Yeah its just a brand anymore and they don’t compete with 7 – 11’s as in their new gas stations are a notch above now. I had to stop here because I risked driving on fumes because of some scheduling changes I was running late! So it necessitated my stopping to get gas. I fully intended to just get gas at the pump and hit the highway, and as usually happens something peaks my interest. In this case it was a large banner saying any Thirst Buster .69 cents, that definitely got my going because I got all nostalgic and remember well the soda wars of ’81 when 7 – 11 and Circle K rolled out Super Big Gulps and Super Thirst Busters for .50 Cents and suicides were the favorite drink at that time of my life! Well hook, line and sinker I made my way into the store for my .69 cent thirst buster! With out even taking in my surroundings and just thinking it’s a just a run of the mill gas station I made my way to the Soda Fountain, at that instant I was taken back in time I stood in awe of this soda dispenser and its variety of options how could one decide. There were maybe 12 different soda options available, that’s not unusual! To me what twanged my juvenile awe and took me back in time was the fact they had flavoring add ins for free! Cherry, Vanilla, Lemon and Lime yeah I have also seen that before, but here is the kicker they had Ginseng, Ginkgo, Echinacea, and b-12. Honestly first thought was SUICIDE, take me back old school! So yes I did put cherry, vanilla, lemon, lime, ginseng, ginkgo, echinacea with double shot of b– f’n 12! Yes that was the grossest Diet Dr Pepper I ever had but I tell you what it made for one remarkably clear thinking wired ass trip home and I don’t think I will get sick now! LOL The soda fountain made me take notice of the rest of the store and they also have like 31 flavors of slushies a cool smoothie slash shake setup and it was clean and bright and open! Yeah bodegas with .25 cents Little Debbie snacks have their role but this spot is now my go to destination when I leave downtown for sodas and gas!
