Came in today for a late breakfast. I ordered the $ 6blueberry pancake meal off the 2,4,6,8 menu. I also ordered a mild coffee. They were somewhat busy but still the service was good. I definitely like the way they’ve redone this location. It’s a more modern look with nice photos on the wall so it makes a nice casual atmosphere. They also have a jukebox that you can Play your favorite tunes while eating your meal.

Waited about 10 minutes. No one else waiting, maybe 2 tables in the whole place occupied, no one greeted us. Finally caught someone’s eye and they said it would be a minute. After 5 more minutes we just left

Worst Denny’s I have ever been to and terrible service. I went there at 3pm and was one of four tables there at the time. The hostess forgot to bring us a high chair, the waitress didn’t bring any cream with my coffee and only checked on our table once after we got our food, which we asked for more napkins which never came. The Cobb salad didn’t have any hard boiled eggs, and when we asked for some they gave us a single egg… just terrible service and experience.

I went with my friend and her young daughter. There was only two serves as we could see but there was few costumer. Everything was great! The server apologize for the slow serves but it was actually relaxing. Her daughter’s spaghetti came out first; looked good, must have tasted good because she eat it so quick we had to order another. Our food was also good and hot(something I normal worry about on slow days at other place, here they took advantage to have fresh food). My sampler came with more jalapeño then I could finish,(took it home). Big thing. Being a caffeine-aholic, I tend to fishing my sodas fast. Our server took note of this and left another glass before I finish my second one. Incase she didn’t get to me in time. I found this to be very thoughtful.

Denny’s app reports this location as closed — I suspect it will be true soon enough. The staff are slow and rude, and the food is nothing special. Even when the place was empty(only one other table with customers) it took 15 minutes just to get our drinks. Go to Mel’s and have a better experience.

This place blew away my expectations. The décor, cleanliness, value and service were all first rate. The décor: every Denny’s I have visited has been run down and showed its age. That has never been a deal breaker in the past but I have to point how nice it is at this location. Wood floors with warm inviting colors throughout. Interesting historical photos of Folsom and black and white photos of Denny’s past. Cleanliness: this place was absolutely spotless. The bathrooms, the tables, the booths, the floors were immaculate. Service: Tim, our server, was outstanding. The coffee cup was never close to empty . Value: ordered the«Grand Slam Slugger». For 8 bucks I got 2 eggs over medium, Hashbrowns, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage links, 2 huge pancakes, coffee and orange juice.. Half came home. Two meals for 8 bucks. My head is spinning. The mrs and the little lady ordered entrees as well. We walked out of there before tip at $ 21. I feel like we ripped this place off. I will be back.

I absolutely love this place. Always excellent customer service. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. It doesn’t matter if we’re in the mood for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Denny’s always satisfies the tummy! Love them to pieces! Thank u Denny’s, your always great! :)

By far the worst Denny’s I have ever been to. The staff is extremely malfunctional and rude. Service is super slow. I’ve been here a handful of time hoping they would change and give them another chance. The host/hostess is never at the stand, my family and a few others waited some 15 or more minutes just to be seated. The waiter rarely comes around to check to see how we are doing. We had to wait another 10 minutes to pay our bill while the host was cleaning a table and I had to wave her down. A lady had been waiting to be seated as well and was furious and decided to talk to the manager. I know I’m not the only one who’s had a bad experience here, with cold food that’s barely up to par and rude staff and ridiculous wait times this is not the place to go. Mary’s Gold Miner Café or Mel’s are much better options than Folsom Denny’s. Update!!!: So today I came in for breakfast with my mom, once again waited at the host stand because the host was in the back lolligagging, drinks came out and my mom finds this cock roach in her drink tells *Tim* our waiter and he says that it was just a piece of dirt and my mom says that it was a roach, dirt does not have legs and a face. He said they they were very clean and that sometimes insects just get into the ice out of no where… Well if you were very clean in the first place that wouldn’t have happened… Food comes out my biscuits and gravy were hard and the gravy was very watery… Her super bird sandwich comes out with barely any meat… Very skimpy sandwich… We leave… Waiter never apologizes… Never again will I come to eat here with family… Absolutely disgusting… Get your sh*t together and raise your standards of employee staff service and cleanings… For Christ sake…

First time we were here we got in quick, we’re greeted quick and served amazingly quick. Each time after that, it has taken forever to be greeted, forever for ordering and forever for food and it’s not even busy. There was a couple here before us and after we finally ordered, the man yelled«we’re ready over here!!». Well I thought they were waiting for their bill, but NOPE. They hadn’t even ordered!!! Bacon burnt, and the bisquit and gravy??? Omg… super tiny biscuit chunks and that’s it. AWFUL customer service! Prepare to wait! Won’t be back.

There was more than just the staff here that disappoints. Although there is much to be desired with them as well. When your food arrives 30 mins after you order it in the middle of the afternoon and your eggs are changing color and have turned to rubber we have a problem. Now let me say, I dont have super high expectations as far as Denny’s is concerned in the first place but when the waitresses are being nasty to each other and swearing about other customers then good grief something needs to be done. Where is the management here. Such a shame for a brand new Denny’s. This can be repaired however, a little bit more professionalism and quality control and this restaurant could be much more than it is.

I have always been a fan of Denny’s for breakfast so I was very happy when they recently opened one in my neck of the woods(Folsom, CA) unfortunately though I can’t say much that is positive for this particular location except for the cleanliness and friendly/considerate servers. We’ve been there 3 times and each time walked away disappointed. The 1st was opening weekend… it was crazy busy, totally expected and our server was excellent so we let our expectations slide. 2nd time was for dinner, food was nothing to write home about however our server was great, again giving them the benefit of the doubt. This 3rd time was for breakfast. For a Saturday morning, surprisingly it was very quiet and we just about had the place to ourselves, however we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did arrive, the food was lukewarm and my husband never received his complete order(pancakes). Needless to say, our server credited our bill for the cost of the breakfast minus the charge for our coffees as well. Our server and hostess were both extremely apologetic explaining that there was a shortage of cooks that morning. My husband having experience in the restaurant industry said this is the responsibility of the kitchen or restaurant manager. For a new eatery, I hate to see this location fail but if they don’t get their act on, customers will have no trouble finding an equally affordable, family oriented place to catch some breakfast, lunch or dinner. For us, I think we’ll head back to IHop or our former Denny’s in Orangevale.

Dennys make the best veggie eggwhite omelletes. So it is ideal to be able to find a clean and modern Dennys. This location is brand new with extra clean premises, friendly staff, amazingly freshly prepared food. I frequent the place 2 – 3 times a week and have nothing negative to report here which is unusual for someone with my high standards. I also think it is great that they allowed their employees time off over the holidays — ppl should support that instead of complaining of less staff.

If you go here make sure you check your Cups forks spoons plates everything… Had one day off this week decided to go in and have breakfast with the family… horrible idea!!! they served us nasty dirty dishes… I will definitely make the drive to go somewhere else

This Denny’s is the best Denny’s I have been to(I came from Elk Grove). The restaurant was super clean and tidy when we came in on a late Friday night. To my surprise, there was only one other couple there dining aside from us. Service was a great as well. There was only one server. He was friendly, helpful, and straightforward. The best part was the food. The food was amazing and presentable. The Zesty Nachos(with the pico de gallo on the side) came out hot, humongous, and tasty! I ordered from the $ 8 value menu, a breakfast item with 2 sausage links, 2 pieces of bacon, hash browns, eggs, and 2 giant fluffy pancakes. It was food coma for us by the end of night… In a good way. I think we found or new favorite late night spot here in the city of Folsom.

Well I wish I could tell you about the food but after an HOUR of waiting we were told our server lost our ticket. Couldnt sit and wait another hour. We left. Way to go Folsom! Sadly the waitress who lost our ticket was the only one who looked like she knew what work was. She was moving. The rest seem like spoiled privileged kids just takin their damn sweet time.

Went in this morning 10⁄31 at 8am with my husband and son, and when the girl went to seat us, she noticed the table was REALLY sticky so she said she would be right back. She came back with a paper place mat and as she placed it over the sticky mess she looked me right in the eyes and sai«there you go»…we stood up and walked out!

Employees outnumbered us four customers. Yet the staff were cleverly hidden. I had to walk into the dishwashing area to find some who asked IF we wanted to be seated. After being asked and told our order would soon be taken, we waited 20 minutes for a scoop of ice cream. I wanted to stiff them on the tip — we did not even have time to eat after all the wasted time. With nobody there to take my money I left cash but had to give a 30% tip cuz nobody would take the payment or make change. Just say No. This is Denneys afterall.

Service was excellent and the atmosphere was surprisingly nice for a Denny’s! It is clearly a relatively new location — very clean and not as outdated as most locations I’ve been to. The food was ok, but not stellar. I got a breakfast sandwich with hash browns. The sandwich was a little too salty for my taste, and the hash browns had a weird taste — maybe old oil? Again, service was stellar! I would go back just for that.
