Jessi James Salon & Spa

My first experience at Jessi James was with Kim the esthetician. I received a Brazilian wax and she was comfortable to talk with and did an amazing job. I am beyond pleased with the results and cannot wait to return in a few weeks. I highly recommend Kim for a quality wax!

This review is only about Kim, the esthetician. I have to say that Kim was just amazing. I got the groupon. She is professional and friendly, good at explaining and gentle but firm and knows her business… She won’t over promise and keeps the mood light and reminds you to breathe. She worth the trip, worth the referral and great at what she does.

I’ll follow Mica around the world for my hair. This is a clean, friendly salon with a relaxing, low-​key environment and great products!

This is my spot for a haircut. The staff is friendly. Everyone brings a good vibe at this spot and the owners are super nice. I can’t recommend just one hair stylist due to the fact that all of the workers here are awesome at what they do. Kudos to Jessi James!

Tamara is amazing and I love the positive energy at the salon. No stuffy, snobby vibe here — laid back and welcoming. Each and every stylist is friendly, making this a great place to relax and be spoiled. Sammie is the best! I have been going to her for over a year now and I always leave loving my hair. She does great with color, anything from dramatic dark to adding some natural highlights for the summer. Sammie also gives great stylist haircuts. I love the body and texture she adds to my hair. The salon has a very artistic, clean, and hip feel to it. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Sammie at Jessie James Salon!

This is the best salon in the Sac area… So good I drive an hour and a half from the Bay Area to have Jessi do my hair. The Jessie’s (Girl Jessi and boy Jesse) have created a really cool, artistic salon. The work they do here is great. They make sure that they and all of their stylists are up to date on all of the latest trends and can execute the cuts and color flawlessly. If you’re ready for some super model hair– go here!

Finally! Finely have found Jessi (boy Jessi)!!! Not only does he know how to cut hair (i have gotten umpteen compliments!), he is on time, and he takes his time to make sure he has perfect cut. And… a cool dude. He isn’t all drama and gossipy. Thanks Jessi

Both my 5 year old son and I go here. They are very nice but for us especially Samantha. She layers the hair and leaves us with a great haircut!

Had a facial by Katelyn and it was fabulous! She is new to the salon and is building her clientele. She sets a relaxing environment and gives the best massages with your facial. The prices are reasonable and she also does waxing. After my facial I felt rejuvenated I will definitely be returning I have my 20^th high school reunion coming up and she has a game plan to get my skin to look like I was 18 again!

Jessi Marchant has been doing my hair since 2008, and she is an amazingly gifted colorist and stylist, so I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! The salon has a great vibe, and everyone there is anxious to please. Fabulous spot!!!

I’ve followed Jessi from El Dorado Hills to a salon in Folsom and now to her own salon. Yes she is that good! Color is her speciality and she also gives the best neck massage during the shampoo!

When I moved here 7 years ago it was very hard for me to find a good hairdresser that was local. I am from San Franciso where you can easily find a great hairdresser. Up in this area, it’s hit or miss or by referral. I have used so many hairdressers I was starting to think about trying to do my own hair. I was referred to Jesse by someone whose hair I thought always looked amazing. I’ve been with Jesse for 2 years. I like low maintenance hair so I’m done with blonde. Jesse is a perfectionist and always takes time to make sure his work is perfect. Not only is he good with scissors but hair color. My gray is covered and my hair is the color I should have been born with.
I think getting light brown hair an art, and he is the first hair dresser I’ve had do it right. My hair turns red at the drop of a hat. I have a nice Carmel with gold. Jesse is honest and up front about advising instead of just cutting or coloring when I’ve asked about doing certain things. Everyone I’ve refered is still a client.
I’ve also been sitting next to the other Jessie the entire 2 years watching her do hair. Her clients always leave looking great and happy. I would not hesitate to have her do my hair if Jesse was unavailable. I know I can count on either one to have my hair done the way I want.

I’m very particular about my hair because in my industry, image is important. I was referred to Jesse Tamburini by another friend who had been using Jesse for a while. I was super impressed with my first haircut by Jesse and couldn’t believe his attention to detail and eye for what’s cool. I have very blonde fine hair that will show any mistake however there is no need to worry about that here.
As for the new salon, what more can I say other than AMAZING! Jesse and his business partner Jessie have created a hip, modern salon with a very welcoming staff of professionals. It’s legitimately fun to come in and get your hair done here. They welcome you in as part of a family and not just another cattle getting herded through the door like other salons I’ve been to. They also carry some great hair product by Bumble and bumble (Sumotech) that they turned me on to.

I Love the new salon because I will follow Boy Jessie wherever he goes! He gets my color and cut right every time. I’m so confident in his ability and skill that I always tell him «do what you want!» He does and I always have compliments on my hair! Girl Jessie rocks too! You KNOW how important it is to find and maintain a good hairdresser! Sooooooo happy with this salon!!!
