I will have to say that, for some reason, the Owner of the Folsom store, has changed locations several time in the last few year. however does not change his contact information ie phone number of his location, every time I have gone in to buy a new phone or inquire about my old phone with an issue or problem(over the past years) I have dealt with Sami, Moe and Kat and they all are very kind and knowlegable, the problem may be short staff. I bought a new phone today and Kat was very kind and knowledgable about the phone. She gave me the deal she had quoted over the phone and shortly after I went in customers where starting to line up, she handle my transaction in very attentive and speedy time. I purchased the Galaxy Grand Prime. I did read the reviews on this phone, before purchasing, so this may be an isolated issue, I love the phone. So I’m hoping the service remains good, when I go in on Monday, they are closed on Sundays. A huge problem is that setting it up once at home I notice the battery going down rapidly, So the phone is supposed to have a 336 hr. standby time and 18 hour talk time, so why the rapid drain, something is not right, so, now I will have to take it in, but I know they will take care of the problem. I gave Metro PCS local and CS a five stars, because in all the years I have been with them, they have been very good to me. They do value their customers.

I already thought the customer service couldn’t get any worse here, but I was wrong. Since it had been several months since my last visit, I decided to stop in and see if they had stepped their game up. First of all, the man behind the counter was texting and using his phone the entire time, while he was talking to me. I dare say he was quite clearly high on marijuana, and didn’t even offer me any. But seriously, he seemed to think that something about helping me was funny. He was smirking the whole time, but answered all questions very curtly, as if they weren’t worth his time. I was looking at two LG phones with a $ 30 price difference, with no noticeable difference in features listed. I asked him what made one phone worth $ 30 more than the others. Him: The features. Me: Which features? Him: The features of the phone. Me: Which features does this phone have that make it worth $ 30 more than the other? Him: This phone has more features. A few moments later: Him: So it would be $ 99 plus the $ 15 upgrade fee. Me: So I can save $ 15 by changing my phone number? Him: No, it would be $ 50 more, because you’d be paying for the first month. Me: So if I keep my phone number, I get a month for free? Him: No. Me: Then how does that make a $ 50 difference? Him: Because you’ll be paying for the first month. Me: But I’ll be paying for that month whether or not I change my number, right? Him: Yeah, but if your bill is not due yet, then you’re paying for two months at once. Me: So all I have to do is wait until my bill is due, and then I can save $ 15 if I don’t care about keeping my number? Him: Well, yeah. Pro tip: Raley’s is right next door for that beer you’re inevitably going to need after experiencing the customer service at this Metro PCS.
