I went in for passport photos and they were fast, friendly and efficient. I would recommend over UPS store or Fed Ex as the service was more personal.
By the way Stephanie F., restrooms are not required in a retail store…

Had some work done here before, they were great. Well, I tell you, one employee can ruin that in 20 minutes.
They have an employee named Essence. She was rude, impatient, wasted my time. I have gone here in the past and even recommended them to friends and family. No more the Essence was bad.

Very slow service and the woman working the day I went in was extremely unfriendly. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and perhaps something was going on in her life but she was unpleasant. If you need a live scan go to Sacramento.

They do not have a restroom for patrons and no seating available to wait if you have to wait for a service to be done.

Amazing! This is how I will describe Kim and her team. She has helped me on critical jobs with a 6hr turnaround on printing projects for some of my clients, has given me low cost options for shipping and is always willing to help. A great resource. Love them!

I cannot say enough good things about David and More Than A Mailbox on Prairie City. After my father passed away a few months ago I had a large collection of one-​of-​a-​kind, original art work and pottery that my mother (who passed away 20 years ago) had made that I was sending to my Aunt in Idaho. There had to have been at least 30 pieces of pottery, lamps, vases and three paintings. The employee (I don’t know her name) helped me carry everything in from my car and then brought David out to talk about the big pile of items. After hearing about how these items were valuable, both financially and sentimentally, David suggested a pallet shipping to make sure the items wouldn’t be damaged or jostled. I agreed. After David packaged everything he sent me an e-​mail with a photo of the finished pallet and tracking information. He also e-​mailed me as the shipment went on it’s journey. My Aunt received the pallet on time and raved about the packing job. Not one item was broken or damaged in any way! Thank you so much, David, for taking care of these precious things that belonged to my parents.

Very happy with the customer service and atmosphere here! Friendly staff with quick attention to detail on Fed-​Ex packaging our office package to the east coast. Will be back here when shipping needed.

Have used this place since they opened. Kim is the owner and the sweetest person. They are efficient and very helpful. They so more than just mailing things. Their printing services are excellent. You send them you PDF file and clear instructions and it is done and ready when you get there.

The owners, Kim and Dave are absolutely fabulous! They have trained their team to always provide excellent customer service and good knowledge of all the services they provide. I use them on a regular basis for our office needs as well as personal needs. They are «more than a mailbox» creating signs, routing slips, buttons and more for us at reasonable prices. A month ago I ran into a jam needing program fans designed and assembled for a wedding, ASAP. Luckily, I called Kim and they got to work creating what turned out to be the most memorable souvenir from the wedding in just 3 day! The guests loved it and the bride and groom were very happy. Thank you for all the wonderful work you do!

This place is great. I have needed several items in a rush in several different occasions and Dave and Kim made it happen. Even when I need items shipped i drive from Sacramento to Folsom to make sure it’s done right. They are personal able and they really care about their customers. I love this place!

I LOVE the creative work I had done at More Than a Mailbox in Folsom recently! I am going to Germany to visit friends and wanted to take along some unique gifts. Kimberly was FANTASTIC in helping me select and design novel gifts made using the photographs of my friends’ children!!!
They will be soooo surprised and delighted! It is so hard for me to pick a favorite, but included in the host of beautiful gifts is a musical jewelry box with the romantic muted image of the lovely Alahna with the scripted title: ~Le Muse~ Oh! She is going to LOVE it!

The owners, Kim and Dave, are genuinely good people and know full well that customer service is a lost art. Their staff is just as great. They explained shipping challenges to me so I’d understand. I highly recommend this establishment!

I needed livescan fingerprints done for volunteering at the High School. I was lucky to find this store. Walked in with no appointment and the staff was friendly and efficient. I also had documents notarized and was very happy with the service. They do need some signage from the street as it is easy to miss if you don’t know where they are located.

I have been to this store on tow separate occasions. The first was to have some documents notarized. While I was there I looked around at all the cool nick knacks. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
I went back recently to have gifts made for my graduating seniors. I teach at a local high school and wanted to get the kids something small and fun. I ordered candy bars with customized wrappers. They turned out great! Our school colors are blue and gold. The bars were printed gold for the girls and blue for the boys to match their graduation gowns each with their names on the bar.
My students loved them! Two cried when they received the candy. It really turned out great!

This place is the worst. I generally appreciate M&P mailbox places, but this one is a nosey can dosey (i.e. no can do).
I went in to ship my defective Power Balance bracelet back to P/​B Headquarters in Lake Forest, CA. I already had it in the envelope and ready to go. I said «one letter for certified mail please.» Then grandma asked if I wanted return receipt requested — I said no. But the curmudgeon wouldn’t take no for an answer.
I said all I want is the tracking number and I will track it on the internet. She said «oh yeah well that’s only if the post office scans it.» I said «well don’t they usually scan it.» She said «ohhh no.»
I am an attorney lady. I send mail certified on a bi-​daily basis. I have probably sent 1000 letters/​notices certified mail in the last year with a 99.9% successful scan rate. They don’t always get delivered but they get scanned.
I know that times are tough for M&P mailbox places. My favorite joint over on E. Bidwell next to the Jack’s is out of business. The one near my house on Folsom-​Auburn is no longer. But, come-​on don’t lie to me just to make a couple extra bucks for the return receipt.
I will not go back. The UPS store or Fed/​Ex Kinko’s is closer to me anyway. Hey ‘More Than a Mailbox,’ I suggest you try some customer service — ever heard of it?

It’s mainly a UPS/​FedEx/​Mailing place but they have tons of stuff that a gift shop would offer.

Just in case you’re in Folsom, and need to get a mug that says «Folsom» on it. Or a frilly bookmark from a craft/​hobbyist type of vendor.
