Salon M&N

So disappointed. My friend and I booked 12pm appointments several weeks in advance to get our hair done together. We arrived 10 minutes early. They took me right away but let my friend sit there over 55 (45 late) minutes waiting. I asked repeatedly when she was going to start and we were told «soon» over and over. My hair was finished by the time they were ready to take her. They were unapologetic. We had to leave and she never got hers done which was probably for the best because on top of it all, my hair fell flat within an hour because she put almost no product in it. She also didn’t speak the entire time I was in the chair. I don’t necessarily need a chatty stylist but this woman just seemed like she had no interest in being at work. Such a disappointing experience. Will never go back.

I have been going to Salon M&N, formerly Sheartique ( Unilocal moderators please update) for about two years now and never thought much of my simple trim, thin, and style straight hair until my go to stylist, Shayne, went on maternity leave… *key in horror music here*. It slipped my mind to make an appointment before she left and having purchased a groupon for a keratin treatment at a center city salon, I figured I could just get a trim there — how hard could it be? Well somehow I got talked into a cut done by a butcher and after a month of growing it out and the birth of a babyboy, I was able to go to Shayne today and have it corrected. Seriously, my saving grace. Thank you Shayne and Salon M&N, I will never stray again!
