The Fairmont at Willow Creek

This place has the same design as the apartments the next lot over. The stairs collapsed there and someone died. So here they did and inspection, uncovered rotted wood all over the place and their solution was to toss an unanchored brace under all of them and wrap caution tape around it… problems solved at the Fairmont!

Well I have lived here 9 months and I still love it. There are some great things about this community but before I write about that first and foremost the best thing about the place is the staff. I have lived in apartment most of my life and these people truly are the best. The three women in the office and the maintenance staff. They are just top notch and care about the community.
In the nine months I have lived here they have painted the exterior, although my unit isn’t renovated, I see they are upgrading some apartments on the inside, which is needed. They have also renovated the business center, gym and the pool area which was nice to begin with. The landscaping crew also does a great job. The grounds are beautiful, quiet for the most part and mostly an older crowd.
I enjoy living here.

They will take advantage of you when you move out!!! I paid the $ 80 deposit instead of the full deposit and that is a scam because they do not credit you that back upon moving out. They said it was the cleanest apartment they have seen for someone who held residency there for 4 years but still charged me for brand new carpet with the reasoning of «pet stains» but no pet ever entered the apartment as I am ALLERGIC!!! Level of standards for attendants has dropped dramatically and staff is unprofessional. Location is great but I would definitely recommend The Falls or Legends over this place.

I just finished up a year living in The Fairmont at Willow Creek. I am single with no pets, so can’t address issues about pets or children, but I have also lived in many apartment complexes over my long life (I am 62). I can honestly say that there were many aspects to the Fairmont that I found exceptional. First and foremost is the location. Centrally located, and my third floor apartment had a fantastic view of the greenbelt/​bike trail area that I enjoyed many times from my spacious deck. That was a huge draw for me to originally move into the apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by how gracious and attentive the front desk staff was. I originally dealt with Lacey who was always prompt and answered all my questions. I enjoyed the pool area and workout room. It was always very quiet and comfortable. And can’t say enough about the grounds crew and maintenance staff. These people kept the grounds in exceptional shape and also were incredibly prompt if I had a question or something that needed fixing. So for me, this was a very good choice and I think anyone would be happy to choose this location and complex as a place to live.

There is very little storage in these apartments. The walls are thin and you can hear bits on neighbors conversations, having sex, TV, snoring, and the upstairs neighbors unless they tip-​toe are pretty loud. The buildings need external maintenance but that seems to be less of a priority than upgrading the vacant units. Very corporate in the operations of the building and how they treat the residents. If corporate says no or this is the way then that’s it.
Average rent increases range from 50 – 150 and can be even more if you do not sign a year lease or if you moved in on a special.
Though dog friendly they have Restricted breeds: Pit Bulls, Chow Chows, Doberman pinscher, Rotweiler, German Shephers & Presa Canario — NO MIXES EITHER

My husband lived there for 8 years and I lived there for a year. The customer service at the front office is usually really good.
We had horrible neighbors above us but that can happen anywhere.
We did get our whole deposit back.
Anytime I needed anything fixed– the service was very prompt.
Location is right off the bike trail.
