The Learning Experience

Our children have been going to TLE folsom for 2 years now. The owners are committed to make TLE a great school by constantly seek feedback on the school. And we can see that the school is continuously making improvements. The staffs are great and the facility is clean. I highly recommend TLE Folsom to friends and families.

I cannot express my gratitude to TLE Folsom! We recently moved to the area and thankfully found TLE Folsom.
In the last three months since enrolling our little girl here, she has grown leaps and bounds. My wife and I have seen her vocabulary drastically expand, she has made many new friends, and loves going to «school» each day.
The Staff here make sure that you feel welcomed and genuinely care for your child. A big shout out to Ms. Monique, Ms. Kylie, and Ms Bridgett!!! Our little girl loves you all so much! :)
The facility is always clean, organized and inviting. They take safety very seriously, and have multi-​step process to enter/​exit facility. The rooms vary based on age level and all offer toys/​games that encourage learning.
The curriculum changes monthly, with a focus on a specific theme. This month is the different aspects of weather. They also teach two different languages per year, this year is sign language/​Spanish. There is a technology room to help engage kids to use technology while learning.

My son has been at The Learning Experience since its opening. Within weeks his vocabulary was already increasing daily and his social skills with other kids is a wonderful thing to see. The school is clean and The teachers and staff are wonderful!!! Every teacher knows every students name and greets them as they pass in the hall. The management staff is always open and available to any concerns or questions you may have and they are genuinely concerned for the well being and educational advancement of every student. I have and will continue to recommend The Learning Experience to anyone looking for a enriching environment for their child to grow in.

Overall, I like TLE. The place is very clean, and sanitized daily. My daughter rarely get sick. She has been atTLE Since they opened. She’s been in infants, twaddler and now toddler class. I recommend it.

We have been sending our son here for nearly a year and we are very satisfied with the courteous, caring and knowledgable staff, excellent facility and good curriculum for his age. Having transitioned from The Phoenix schools”, the peace of mind offered by TLE is beyond words. The school management seems very pro-​active and keen on maintaining/​improving their exceptional standards. The owners like to talk to the parents on a personal level and get feedback about the school. I highly recommend TLE to anyone looking for preschool/​kindergarten needs for their kids.

I would not recommend TLE in Folsom. I was excited to enroll our children in TLE for Pre-​K last year, but everyday I would leave with the feeling that it wasn’t living up to our expectations & all the hype. This school had potential, but it seems like they are trying to grow too fast. We were concerned with kids being shuffled into other (younger) classes constantly, promises of changes from the owners without seeing results, and licensing issues in the rooms– especially Make Believe Blvd & the Interactive Board rooms. We expected open and upfront communication, instead of hearing from our children and then having find out issues after the fact. Our concerns were quickly pushed aside– saying they were already resolved, but they weren’t! When I volunteered in the class, it was very unorganized, and they had to keep taking breaks to move groups of kids to another room because of the ratios. Also, they really talked up the soccer programs (which they didn’t do in the 7 months we were there) and song based learning & curriculum reviews which were both really disappointing. I had a hard time letting go of the idea of the school we were sold on before it opened and stuck it out for a long time, but now, after experiencing another school for an equal amount of time, I know 150% we made the right move pulling our children out of TLE because they are thriving and come home happy everyday at their new school. I have gone back and forth about writing a review, but thought it was best to put my experience out there. I hope they have made improvements & are able to turn this school around!

BEWARE! Do not send your children here. The owners are horrible and do not know anything about child care. They cannot keep their staff because of their constant micro managing. They will not allow anyone to actually run the school the way it should. Stay away if you want the best for your child.

We love TLE! As first time parents, it’s nerve-​racking to have someone else care for your child. Our son is in the infant program at TLE and we feel that they treat our son like one of their own. Their program is very unique. We love how they promote growth, developmentally and socially. He’s constantly learning. His teachers constantly talk, read, play, and create art with him. TLE is also very collaborative when it comes to accommodating our needs. All staff, even those who are not his teachers are very welcoming and take time to get to know our family. When we drop him off, visit, or pick him up, he’s always happy. Knowing he’s happy in their care makes us happy. TLE is a wonderful community of caretakers and not your average daycare. We tried other daycares in the area and nothing compares to TLE. We feel very confident in the care they provide him and highly recommend TLE!

We have been sending our daughter to TLE ever since they started in Folsom.
Pros: —
1] Class size is perfect not too overloaded .
2] Teachers are really good. They did have some issues with attrition rates of teachers but it seems everything is back to normal.
3]The programs they have for pre schoolers cover everything from sign language, foreign language to yoga apart from academics .My kid loves the make believe boulevard.
4] The owners are the nicest people i have met. They constantly seek feedback on the school and their teachers and have set a very high standards. Any feedback given to them is immediately acted on.
The staff is very cheerful and always goes the extra mile .
Cons:-So far none.
The negative reviews i read on Unilocal seem to be like they are from some old disgruntled employees.
