Laurie is amazing (as is her store, Turban Diva). I brought my best friend in to shop for scarves before she started chemo treatments. We laughed, tried on most everything in the store and shared stories with Laurie who added so much advice, wisdom and comfort.
I can’t convey how much it meant to both my friend and me to have a place to go that offers a haven when dealing with the serious business of cancer. Last week I was my friend during her third chemo treatment. I have to say she looked beautiful in the scarf we bought at Turban Diva (and she knew it!). Such a simple thing makes a world of difference when you’re not feeling well.
So, my sincere thanks to Laurie, for filling a much needed void to women fighting the disease. And, for her patience when I started trying on items, too. Her scarves are gorgeous!
