The first time I walked into this place I wasn’t expecting much. It looked just like every other sports bar and restaurant here in Fond du Lac. But I try to not judge a book by its cover and I’m glad I didn’t do that here. The place is still, ultimately, a sports bar so the menu does drift too far from fried apps and sandwiches but this place has some of the most creative burgers and sandwiches in town. Ever hear of Sriracha Caramel sauce? Neither had I but it makes a great condiment on a burger. And yes, I know that Portobello Fries are now kind of passé but here, in Fond du Lac, they are kind of a novelty and they are really good, to boot. My only complaint is I find a number of the bartenders could be a little more welcoming and friendly. They aren’t mean or nasty but you can tell by how they treat the customers whose a regular and who isn’t. Other than that small issue I highly recommend the place.

I used to love going here to eat but I am not sure what has happened to the service and food. The last two times we have been here we have been severely disappointed. I loved the sweet and salty burger and I ordered it tonight done to medium. When it arrived it was charred and tasted burnt. I had to flag down the waitress to tell her because she did not stop at our table to ask how our food was. When I told her she asked if I ordered it well done. No, I ordered medium. She wanted to check to see what she wrote down, it doesn’t matter if you wrote it down wrong I still need it corrected. Turns out she wrote it down correct. She took my plate and left with out a word and went to the kitchen and other tables for a while. She eventually came back and told me they were remaking it. The owner dropped off the remake and I never received an apology. When the bill came I did not receive a discount either. We also had to ask for refills on our drinks. Not the best service tonight from the waitstaff or kitchen. We are sticking to 11:11 for hamburgers in Fondy!

Wow 1st time in fond du lac and we stopped in here after bowling and were super happy with the choice of coming in. Plenty of tvs and great food. Biggest surprise was they had a ipa beer tasting. Freaking awesome! 25 bucks for all the ipa’s we could drink in three hours. Needless to say our group left here happy and extremely intoxicated. If ever back in the area I will definitely hit this place up again.

Found this place on Unilocal.Fantastic homemade mozzarella sticks. Good service and clean modern atmosphere with lots of big screen TV’s. Homemade chips were good. Black N Blue Burger was good but appeared to be a pre pressed patty which is a pet peeve of mine. The Carmelites onions were a little too mushy and the blue cheese was cold and not melted into the burger.(which is why they lost the 5 star I was going to give them). Will come back for the mozzarella sticks.

On the outside the place is very unassuming. You walk into a clean place that probably at night is a rowdy sports bar. I was given fair notice that the they are known for their sandwiches and let me tell you they are so big they probably need their own zip code. I opted for the chicken cordon bleu sandwich with the mashed potatoes as the side. They obviously hand bread their own chicken and the portion is HUGE. I had to «de-bun» mine to even make a dent. The breading is very tasty but my only knock is that it didn’t stick to the chicken and easily fell off. The sauce they put on it with the cheese is a nice touch. The mashed potatoes had lumps which I really love… just a matter of preference. Again the portion size was HUGE and it had some added sour cream and chives. For lunch under $ 10 you definitely can’t go wrong with this place. When I am back in Fond Du Lac again I hope to try other food options. There is nothing fancy at all about the menu but good solid bar food is always welcome in my book.

I almost overlooked this place because their website is terrible and hard to navigate through the menu. But, I am glad I decided to try it, great food and drinks. I had probably the best cheeseburger ever, done exactly to my liking. The pretzel sticks and dipping sauce were great and the Joes’s chips were tasty. The blueberry mojito was very good and so was the cheesecake. I think the fun drinks should also be shared on your webpage, but you really need a new designer, font colors not good together at all. It is almost better to just do a pdf of the entire menu. Lindsey was my server and she was very friendly and helped me decide on some items. I would return.

Stayed in Fond Du Lac for PGA Championship at Whistling Straits. We went to this bar both nights while we were in town and had the same bartender both nights. The drinks were cheap and the food was excellent. Enjoyed the Queso Burger with cheese curds. The setting is great as well for music, darts, pool and sports viewing. Thank you for the hospitality!

This place was fucking awesome, and Unilocal found it for me. My friend and I were looking for a good local burger and this place delivered. Typical sports bar, was pretty dead when we went in around 7, but the service was great. Fast too. I ordered the Black and Blue burger and it was perfect. Great bun, perfectly cooked, awesome blue cheese, and the fries were great. $ 10 for it all. My friend got a $ 2 patron shot and $ 1.50 tap beers. Great deal. Highly recommended!

FANTASTIC. Pub food on steroids. Burgers are fantastic. The cedar plank salmon with peaches and pecans is seriously the BEST I’ve ever had. You will like this place. The lobster over New Years I had on the other hand was REALLY bad. Overcooked and REALLY fishy. I’m just thinking this was a rare occurrence because everything else was great.

In town for the first time, maybe the last time, the first restaurant(Trinity) closed for lunch with no explanation. The second restaurant, Mancinos, refused to seat us. Polar vortex weather, the little bit of walking outside was painful, so it was fortunate that this place was open, friendly, and not very crowded. A somewhat typical sports bar, the service was very good, had a good view of three different games, they have Fat Joes on tap. The burgers were okay, the home made chips were better.

I have been there 4 times now. Never again after tonight. Every time I go there it is something. Bad service to something wrong with the food. Tonight it was all of the above. New years eve, spent a ton of money only to get attitude from a bartender for her screwing up my order. To cold chili, undercooked steaks, and rubbery lobster tails. Followed up by getting kicked out at 10:15 because we were there with my girlfriends 19 year old daughter. The daughter was not drinking and neither was her mom. Even the cop that happened to be there 10 minutes before walked right past us and never said a word. They have seen the last of my money

Awesome food. The Wisconsin burger is out of this world. Love the pretzel bun and homemade chips. Good selection of beer on tap as well. A must if you are ever in Fon Du Lac.

Our waitress Roz was a very good. Very personal and attended to all our needs :) We had all you can eat boneless and bone in wings. Ours were always overcooked and overly breaded. They were not very good at all. I had one serving because they were terrible. Service 5 star Wings 1 star

Not sure why I didn’t come sooner. I was worried it would be too much of a bar atmosphere at night to have dinner. Not the case, plenty of dining area so you don’t feel like you’re in the way of people at the bar(like you do at Coliseum anytime after 5) I had the sweet and salty burger which was super goood! Will be back

Good food. Cheesecake is yummy and the beer selection is decent. The service was good also. Looks like they have a nice sound system. Place smelled like cleaner but at least you know they’re cleaning.

Our Sunday was FUNDAY! Especially when they have a buy one get one happy hour! Lots of great raffles during Packer games. Bloodys were above average also. All around everything was great!

Every visit is a splendid experience! We take out all of our out of town friends and family here for the«best burger in town!» Pretzel buns are done right and the meat is cooked to the temperature you order it! Quite a feat in Fond du Lac. With several clever and tasty burgers there is something for everyone. My go to favorite is the Memphis burger.

I walked into Fat Joes expecting a burger joint, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the menu was much more extensive that I was expecting! I ordered a lovely spinach salad. The dressing was really flavorful and not heavy. It’s a bar and grill feel with a full and impressive restaurant menu. Check them out, make sure to save room for cheesecake.
