Per other reviews setting is beautiful and staff very nice. But the ice cream is nothing special(also as others have noted) — limited variety and flavors not very distinctive or balanced. For example, maple bacon pretty much only tastes of maple or the chocolate mixes are bland. And an ice cream stand must have great ice cream to get a four or five star. Four of us, all VERY experienced ice cream eaters, agreed.

Very good homemade ice cream. I’ve had better, but this rates very well. Scenic farm country location. Love the connection to a family-owned dairy farm. I go out of my way to go there.

Five stars for service. Three of the farmers daughters run the place and they are very nice people. Their service and the setting of the place is 5 star worthy. Ice Cream is typical Wisconsin custard. Good but nothing spectacular.

We used Kelley’s Creamery for our wedding – they made us tiny individual wedding cakes out of ice cream. They gave us a tasting ahead of time – with the opportunity to try several flavors. We ended up picking four flavors – they just took the total, divided by four, and made even amounts of each flavor. The guests at the reception were amazed – as well they should have been. The tiny wedding cakes were beautifully decorated and very impressive – and the taste was fantastic! They even worked with our reception site to make sure that the cakes would be cold, and would be served at the appropriate time. I’m so happy with the service we received!

Wow this place is awesome. Really friendly staff. The homemade ice cream is amazing. They have q ton of interesting flavors. I had the chocolate malt and it was very unique flavor but most definatly a malt. Highly recommend. They close at the end of December for winter so make sure you check the hours.

Yum. Really good homemade ice cream at the farm where they raise the cows. Interesting and creative flavors, prices so reasonable my husband thought they made a mistake, and a family owned, local business. The butter pecan and mint brownie were great.

This is a lovely little shop right on the dairy farm. We stopped on a warm Sunday afternoon and the people kept coming! They have lots of flavors and my sundae was excellent. The people who work here are extremely nice. Since we didn’t have a cooler with us we drove the 45 min back on Monday to get some to take home.

This is such a gem to have out here in the country. The ice cream is by far the best ice cream that I have ever enjoyed, ever, and the atmosphere is 100 percent Wisconsin. The Kelley family and their employees are some of the nicest people that you will run into, and it is neat to see where they milk the cows. I tend to try a different flavor of ice cream each time that we go, simply because they have so many different kinds to choose from. However, the butter pecan is far and away the best butter pecan ice cream that has ever graced this planet. Seriously, there is none better. If you haven’t been here, it is worth the drive. It will certainly blow the doors off of any trip to Culver’s or Dairy Queen.

Delicious creamy ice cream! It’s so interesting to go to a place off a country road in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin but I think it’s definitely worth the experience.

Stopped here a few times riding by on the motorcycle. While it isn’t the best ice cream I’ve ever had, it’s always good. The sundaes are outstanding with a generous portion of ice cream and lots o toppings. Nice rockers on the front porch to sit and have some. You can watch the world go by. Supporting local dairy farms. A win all the way around. Worth a stop for sure.

What a kick ass place, so lets watch the cows graze while we eat their cream, iced of course and mixed with sugar, then combined with other flavors. On a large porch? And everyone is friendly? Great place to take the kids after a day of fishing. Wonderful staff and surroundings. And the ice cream is really delicious, they told me this has the highest butterfat rating of any ice cream ever created and was originally a secret weapon developed during the cold war to turn Soviet kids into lard balls. Butterfat also is a funny word.

The setting for this was a picturesque creamery but the ice cream didn’t rate in my book. The four ice creams I sampled with my wife had a bit of ice in them and weren’t particularly creamy. Seemed like lower butterfat content. Maybe i’ve been spoiled, but for being a dairy state, I expected better Wisconsin.

Holy… This is the best ice cream I have ever tasted. A place to remember for sure. And sitting right next to a dairy cow farm, it sets the scene. Right now I am enjoying the ice cream and the people keep on coming.

We visited Kelley’s while staying in the area for Memorial Day weekend. The ice cream is AMAZING and there are many truly unusual varieties(cantaloupe ice cream, anyone?) I had a huge triple scoop waffle cone with chocolate covered potato chip, kahlua fudge almond and chocolate hazelnut ice creams while my husband had The Farmer’s Wife – a sundae with white chocolate ice cream, raspberries and chocolate sauce. We both agreed that it’s a good thing we don’t live nearby because it would be hard to pass it by without stopping on a daily basis!

Voted the best ice cream in Wisconsin. Now that is saying something! Middle of nowhere but you can see the cows that the cream came from grazing behind the shop. Plenty of people here all the time. Locals from Fond du Lac make the 4 mile trip regularly. Well worth the stop!

This an absolutley great stope for everyone and anyone who likes ice cream. You can order your delicious ice cream and sit either inside the country style store or go outside to a rocking chair or table to eat your ice and watch the cows who contributed the to ice crean down on the Kelley farm. Easy off of Hwy 41 just south of Fond du Lac. I will be back and I am only here for 1 more day!
