Super 8 Fond Du Lac

Beds are surprisingly soft and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great. They provide scrambled eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and regular continental items.
Couldn’t find anything negative to complain about. Check in was easy, room was nice, clean and quiet. The best part for me, was having Kohl’s right next door. Very convenient for shopping!
Overall a great value for budget lodging. I will go back and stay again.

This place was really a gem, great price, clean and comfortable lazy boy and great wide screen hdtv. The manager was very friendly and recommended activities and restaurants to me. The breakfast was not bad and a step up from the usual free continental offered at most places. The wifi was great and I had fast speed on my internet. The only issue I had with the place was it was close to a busy highway and the traffic was loud.

I need a place to sleep over night, I didn’t a pool, spa, fitness room, hot tub and game room etc. super 8 matched my needs because I was going to do a bunch of things in fondy and only needed a night sleeping spot. One queen room $ 60.00 + tax but I found a coupon on line for 15% off which made the room $ 58.00. The room had one queen bed, fridge, microwave, Coffey maker old tube tv, safe, iron, iron board, alarm clock, hair dryer, pleather electric lazy boy and various teas/Coffey’s. See the pix. At first impression it appeared to be clean with a lot amenities for extended stays. The wifi was as fast as my high speed at home which surprised me. Before bed I looked at the tv and didn’t like the programming so I found my self watching time warner cable on the iPad with the high speed net and never even a hiccup. The bed was a modern tall one. The bath room was spacious and clean with lots of towels. The room was quiet and comfortable and served my needs. On the way out I smelled waffles from the breakfast (free) area but I was going to a real place. Yes I would stay here again and if all super 8 rooms are like this I might just look super 8 rooms in the future. I can’t complain about anything and I have stayed at s**it hole places by not pre reserving a room and driving some place and stopping at the first hotel/​motel close to where I was.

This is a pretty typical super 8. The room was a little dated but included a fridge and microwave. The breakfast had the basics that you find at these types of hotels. The women at the front desk were both very nice. The best part of hotel was internet speed. I think it was the second or third fastest sustained speeds I’ve ever gotten in a hotel.

This is perhaps your prototypical budget hotel. The hotel was visibly old but the structure appeared to be in good enough repair. The room/​bathroom was clean and comfortable though the furniture and bedding was quite dated. The free continental breakfast included the typical fare: waffles, bread, jam, butter, cereal, milk, coffee, and orange juice.
I stayed at this hotel while passing through Fond Du Lac on my way to western Wisconsin so I cannot comment on its proximity to attractions on Lake Winnebago. I can say quite confidently that this is not the ideal hotel for honeymooners but it fits the bill for people in need of budget lodging.

This is a nice hotel, nice rooms. They have a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot in all the rooms. The free breakfast has waffles, which is a plus. And they have free wi fi.
