What a complete disappointed. I’ve been waiting to go to this place. I wanted to sit at the soda fountain so bad. We walked in and we didn’t see or here any workers. We waited. Finally i called out, «does anyone work here?» I hear, «oh hi». Then i see 2 women sitting down with their heads in their cell phones. They were the rudest and most unproductive workers i have ever seen. They said, we only have ice cream«. So, we didn’t get the soda fountain experience, which is the only reason why you’d want to go in.

I love vintage everything, so this 80 year old ice cream parlor/pharmacy tickles my pickle. Anita is usually the one to make our shakes and malts, and she’s funny in a melancholic, grandma kind of way. She’s definitely fun to converse with; she will show you fun objects and pictures if she likes you.

This is an old school review but from the photo it has not changed that much. It is a pharmacy with a soda fountain… for you youngings that means that at the old pharmacys they had a counter with stools that you could order sodas… years ago the Coca Cola with the cocaine… google it if you don’t know what I mean. You could also order malted milk shakes too. I am glad to see they still have the soda fountain here.
