I tried some Crème Brulee Gelato and it was really creamy, caramel-y, and delicious. But I wanted more. Every sample I had was pretty darn tasty. I didn’t know what to choose. «It’s up to you what you feel like.» «Thanks man,» I replied. **Super** customer service! Conversational and casual, he mentioned it gets busy there Fridays and Saturdays and weekday mornings. It felt like a real neighborhood joint where everyone knows your name, except this time there was only one guy working here at lunch a few days ago. …But he was cool! I ended up getting the Blackberry Cabernet Sorbetto. He apologized that they no longer serve those cookies that come with the gelato. It tasted bright and a bit sour. Reds are almost always drunk at room temp, but it was like a cold frosted glass of ice cream cabernet sauvignon wine and had bold fruity plum, cherry, and blueberry flavors. Stick THAT in your bowl, Trix Rabbit! Silly me, I forgot to mention the only drawback was that several of the flavors didn’t look appetizing through their frigid glass counter. It looked as if some flavors accidentally melted, refroze, were moved around and flattened to be consolidated to one end of each of its respective containers. I forsee an updated review in its future. In the meantime, great gelato flavors, barstools, magazines, coffee(bring a magazine for the shop, get a free cup), free WiFi, cushy chairs, outdoor seating, happy hour specials, coupon offerings, its close proximity to where I live and the fact that it’s a local business will keep me coming back for more. P. S. He also mentioned they no longer have band nights on Fridays. P. P. S. Their«happy hours» are different from bar happy hours. It’s 12 — 3PM I believe for $ 2 deals. P.P.P.S. I have nothing against the Trix Rabbit.

This is a gelato shop in a strip mall in Fonatana with several businesses including Vons. It is at the southern end of the complex. We were greeted by a friendly employee who was outside the shop smoking a cigarette(yuck). At least he put it out before helping us and for the rest of the time we were there he was really nice and helpful. While this place is located in Fontana, it really does have authentic gelato. Their gelatos has a nice thick consistency and smooth but bold flavors. While they did not have any particularly creative flavors, several of the flavors we tried turned out to be good to excellent including pistachio and vanilla. They had a crème brûlée which, although it tasted nothing like crème brûlée, was still good. While the prices were high for ice cream, they were reasonable for Gelato, particularly the good quality gelato they had available.

I come here ALL the time(for over a year) as I live within walking distance. They open very early for the sleep deprived free WiFi is an absolute godsend. the owner is a very cool dude.(Serioulsy, I brought 3 different guys as dates here and he never ratted me out once.) It’s a small place but very mellow with comfy chairs&cute décor. Since I use the WiFi so often I always buy something. My favorite is the Blackberry or Raspberry gelato which tastes like happiness. or a yummy smoothie. They usually have seasonal gelatos(ie: pumpkin&egg nog) When it’s cold out, I usually get a hot chocolate or caramel mixed coffee. They also have homemade baklava and other tasty treats, my only wish is that they had more lunch type food. The also sell their own coffee beans&let you call in your order if you wish. :) They recently started a muscle car night which makes me very very happy. I heart this place and think it’s very underrated.

I’ve seen advertisements for this place many times before but never thought of checking it out until today. It’s a cute little store in the Vons shopping center. The place is a little hip and modern, has the bar kinda feel to it, and I like it. They serve smoothies, coffees, gelato and desserts. On this nice cold day, we had tiramisu and mocha almond fudge gelato, and baklava. Everything was sooo good, and the guy that helped us had excellent customer service. I will definitely come back here again.

Yummy! I had the Straciatella gelato after trying samples of the Bananas Foster, Peanut Butter Cioccolato and Strawberry Cheesecake. Honestly, they were all delicious, with the peanut butter one as my favorite, but since I was having an espresso, the Straciatella was going to go best. The espresso was standard, but better than ‘sbux’, and infinitely better with the gelato. The barista was such a sweetheart, and the ambiance in the place is pretty fun. This is a good place to go with friends after lunch or dinner for something sweet. The pastry selection is pretty much the same as Starbucks, nothing too special. I’ll give the smoothies a shot next time, they look pretty good. So originally, based on my 1st visit, I took away 1 star. With free WiFi here, I decided to come and study with my gelato and espresso. Even with my earplugs in my ears, the music was blasting so loud that I couldn’t concentrate at all. Coffee shop music like this is supposed to be background music, not so loud that you can hear it in the next state. I came back again on a 2nd visit, and that same barista said, «did you notice, we turned down the music?» Wow, this place actually cares about what the customers think, they deserve that star back :) But yes, even though the gelato is a little overpriced, check out their website for coupons, and bring your student ID for a discount. I’ll still be back to try some more… maybe on $ 2.00 scoop Tuesdays!

I stopped by this place a few months back passing through town and had their flavor of the month coffee. A delicious Kona blend from Maui… are you kidding me… Kona… wow I bought a second cup right then and there for the ride back to AZ. They also had a nifty thermos which kept my coffee nice and hot for the long ride. This time around I had a strawberry-banana smoothie with an extra shot of soy protein, it was awesome. I will always hit this place up when I’m in the area. I met the owner for the first time and he was a real cool guy.

The place is hidden in the Vons supermarket complex on the southwest corner of Cherry & Baseline. Their gelato is quite good. I had the crème brûlée flavor gelato and loved it. The only downside was the price. It’s very Pinkberry-ish. And they don’t give you that much. At least it still tastes better than Pinkberry. PINKBERRYSUCKS.
