Mario’s Pizza

I was craving pasta, we googled a place close by and this place popped up. We stopped by, I ordered the spaghetti and meetballs, hubby ordered the chicken parm sanwich. Wait time was as any other place, the food was delicious and we will be going back for sure!

I stopped in at this place after several times passing it my whole life! lol. its a small hole in the wall. great antique décor very cozy and old school deco. the food! well the italian sandwich bombbay#)! classic simple. bread fresh and had alot of flavor. the value! 5.95 for sandwich (12″) with fries or salad. i had the side salad. i thought was perfect size with enough of the vinegarette to put on salad and sanwich. i thought the dressing was classic. red wine vinegar and oil! i really really liked the food and value. a sandwich albiet simple is hard to nail for alot places, but Marios gets it right

Long wait they messed up my order but made up for it by making me a new pizza at no charge. So they get 3 stars.

I stopped in for dinner, and now I wish I had gone elsewhere. The salad was crafted from lettuce scraps, the «Bleu cheese» dressing looked like glue and tasted like ranch. I ordered the beef ravioli, and while the portion was good, the sauce was quite thin and the pasta was undercooked. On a positive note, the garlic bread was tasty.
Perhaps their pizza is better; but I won’t be coming back to find out.

Went here today and found a bug in our pizza. Call them to let them know, took the pizzas back to them for a refund and the gentleman working would not stop giving me dirty looks. Really unprofessional, no apologies, at least I got a refund. Never coming here again.

I have to say That we have been buying pizza at Mario’s and have always enjoyed their pizza. But as of today I will not buy another pizza from that place.
We experience a bug cooked in one of the pizzas today and if their is one in the pizza there must be more in the establishment.
i have to say it is time for the health department to pay a visit, before someone gets real sick.

I order for pick up. It was done in time. It was a great value. I got a pizza and three dinners. The dinners were great reheated in the mircowave up to two days later.

Pizza was good the first time, tried it again a week later an the dough was really ruff an hard to chew, also no flavor to the dough I like a greasy flavor lol. Maybe I’ll give it another shot at some point. Another thing that’s weird they charge for cheese an peppers, I never seen a place charge for those, but hey why not I guess, it just caught me by surprise.

Good food, great customer service and generous portions. The Combo Sandwich, lasagna and Mario’s Pizza bread are our favorites.

I ordered the $ 4.99 special for a footlong turkey with fries and it was pretty darn good. The fries are awesome thin and sprinkled with seasoning salt. Portions are huge, enough for 2 to share.

I order from Mario’s all the time. It is always fresh and man does it taste good! I’m a big guy that likes to eat and when it comes down to feeding time, it better be on point! I have yet to be let down by Mario’s Pizza. The delivery time is great with the pizza intact which doesn’t always happen with other pizza joints I’m sure you know who I’m talking about… We had a work party the other day and ordered the monster size pizza (don’t know the actual name for it but man was it huge!!!) and it feed 12 of us! The best part about it, it was only 20 bucks!!! YOU CAN“T BEAT THAT!!!

We’ve been going to Mario’s for our special occasions many times catering for birthdays and special events, the lasagna is the best, I fed 80 people for my daughters birthday party last week and everyone loved it, it came with green salad and bread, I got an extra tray of pasta salad because personally I love it, I had to hide a plate for me because it literally disappeared… to die for! Great service, fair prices and great pasta, a customer forever.

I’d be tempted to go back and get a pizza, but the overall cleanliness is… not good. Of course being in this area, you’re not expecting Ritz Carlton maintenance. And if you get all huffy about THAT statement, you’re just delusional.

If you love greasy pizza, here’s the place for you. It’s reasonably priced but there’s other pizza parlors that are worth going to.

Mario’s has the best pizza in town. The lunch specials are also a good deal, I like the grinder lunch. It’s a 12 inch grinder (of your choice) with fries or a salad for, I believe it’s $ 4.59 or you can buy a large pizza for $ 5.00. I absolutely love this place!!!

Reasonably priced take-​out pizza, but I felt there was a lot more crust than there should have been.
I love crust, but I found myself pulling some off because there was just so much. The pizza itself was really tasty though. This place definitely knows what they’re doing.
I based my stars on how much pizza I felt was actually was on the slice. Ease off on the crust please.

My review is based on the x-​tra large $ 5 pizza.
I ordered 3 for carry out. These pizzas come with one topping each. I ordered 2 pepperoni and one jalapeño.
Now I figured since I was paying $ 5 for these, I wasn’t expecting the best of the best. There is a reason its only $ 5. Since I live nearby and based on the previous reviews I decided to give it a try.
After bringing it home I noticed that they had added ham to one of the pizzas. Now it made it wonder if they had given me the wrong pizza or added the ham because they ran out? Either way it wasn’t a good impression.
Upon eating I was not satisfied. The dough was good, but the sauce tasted plain. No flavor, not the way a pizza sauce should taste. The cheese gave me a little bit of a bitter taste. I don’t know what kind of cheese they used but shouldn’t it be mozzarella? and shouldn’t it taste fresh?
Overall the pizza was not to my liking and I will not be ordering from here again.

This is probably the best pizza place I’ve ever been to. My family used to go to Littles Caesar’s Pizza a lot and order the $ 5 hot-​and-​readys. Those were good but at Mario’s you can get a much larger pizza for $ 5 with a much wider choice of toppings. And that’s not to mention the quality which is levels above any of the big companies. The service, however, is nothing special. Sometimes you order in advance on the phone (which is supposed to be ready in 15 minutes) and you arrive and its as if they haven’t even started. But again, the quality and price are unbeatable. So my ratings are:

I tried mario’s pizza a few times before writing my opinion, and I must say, they got it right. A mom and pop place tucked away along a Sierra blvd strip malI. The dough they use for there pizza is nice, chewy and rocks. My brother came for a visit, he and his family are the pickiest eaters I know. Well he tried a slice of the pepperoni pizza and he really loved it. Since I bought two of the large family size pizzas, everyone else really enjoyed it. The family size one topping is a great deal. I tried the sausage and peppers sandwich which was pretty good too. Instead of going to the chain pizza places, I prefer Marrio’s pizza. Oh yeah they also have hand packed ice cream.
