Mucho Gusto

This place use to be a regular spot for me since I don’t live to far but the last time I came in and yes I know it was before closing time but no need to give me bad service, the appetizer took 45 minutes, Me and my wife were nearly about to leave but we were so hungry. Does it really take that long to get an empanada??? I had ordered a couple of entrees too but once we ate the empanada we just decided to leave. I looked over in the kitchen and they were just standing eating and chatting, they didn’t even start the food yet! I can’t lie though the food is good for tasting the rest of the Peruvian restaurants nearby (my favorite is the rotisserie chicken)
But I just won’t be coming back or recommending the place

Just left, a lot of the food lacked flavor, fish tasted funny, and the waitress lied to my face. The Lomo Saltado was great though. Prices went up…$ 9 for one small papa rellena??? Ridiculous. I’ll never return, too many other peruvian restaurants in the IE to eat at to settle for this place.

Awesome food. Tastes exactly like mom just made it. Even better. We came with a party of 6 and everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommend.

This is a good authentic Peruvian restaurant. The food is very good and delicious. My husband and I have ordered: lomo saltado, mariscos saltado, aji de gallina, and anticuchos. The plates were vey delicious and not too salty. I recommend this place.

This is a great authentic Peruian Resturant that is in middle of shopping center @ the corner of Sierra & Slover
The food taste delicious & is very original to Peruvian style, the portions are generous with great side dishes like Peruvian beans, potato & delicious sauces!
This our 2bd time for my wife & I here. We stopped by for a late Lunch/​early dinner and was greeted warmly by their manager Jacky and seated.
We ordered Anticuchus con papa dorada choclo y su aji for appetizer & it was a winner!
For main course I ordered the special Ceco de Res con frijoles Peruvians y arroz & it was delicious!
Our waiters was very nice and engaging!
Over all we had a great time and delicious dinner & will be back again.

Okay I have been waiting to try this place out since I got back from Miami, Flordia… So glade I did! Below are the must try plates if it’s your first time.
#1: there is complimentary bread and this spicy green sauce… Eat it, order more!!! It’s good!
#2: Ceviche De Pescado: if you love lemon juice as much as I do, you’ll love this plate. (I shared it as an appetizer with my guy)
#3: Lomo Saltado: All the best things in one plate! (sirloin steak, fries, red onion with an amazing marinade)
I recommend sharing 2 plates between 2 people, so you can get a taste of something different! Portions are BIG!
Small restaurant, but never packed so you should be fine walking in and getting a table!
Lastly, service was good and plates came out pretty fast!

First time here! Husband and I give it a thumbs up. We had questions about the menu since it was our first time and the lady was sweet in telling us the more popular plates. We ordered the chicken as well as the lomo plates and also a Brazilian soda they carry. So good! We will be back. Good food and service!

Tried the day special, Lomo Saltado but with beans instead of fries and, rice, quinoa soup and fountain drink. Quinoa soup was amazing. Steak was good but it would have been better to have a couple more strips of meat.

The food here is good. Appetizers are definitely above average, and very authentic tasting. I personally recommend the papa rellena here as it is very close to what you would find in Peru. They make their own Chicha Morada (a fruity purple corn drink) which is always a plus. To my taste is a bit sweet, but delicious nonetheless.
The Lomo Saltado here is ok. It could use more soy sauce flavoring as that is lost with some of the other spices they put in. Mind you, it is very good, it just doesn’t have he typical Asian influence with the soy sauce as prevalent as other places you might go to.
The Aji sauce is VERY balanced. You get a good blend of the cheese, huacatay, and peppers, and is nice and creamy.
Great flavor on the chicken.
Their appetizers are by far, their best quality. The main courses I’ve tried have been good, but they do an exceptional job with their appetizers.

The food is good here, though not as good as my gold standard for Peruvian food, Misky Misky in West Covina.
I came here with coworkers, and we ordered:
1. arroz con mariscos
2. arroz con pollo
3. ceviche mixto
4. fried fish filet (forgot name)
They were all good.
Will definitely come back.

This is one of the best Peruvian food places I have been too. My dad is Peruvian and he loves this place and says this place is authentic Peruvian food. The waitress is very friendly. People come in a lot to eat here. So the only bad thing I have to say is that they should get at least one more waitress. It seemed like she was the only one doing everything so it took us a while to get our bill. Other then that this place is clean and food is delish! I will diffently come here again.

Had this Peruvian restaurant last sat for the first time. I ordered a Pollo saltado to go. It was delicious chicken was juicy and fresh. Highly recommend this spot. Fast service as well.

DELICIOUS! Don’t get this confused, the only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5 is because My wife and I have only ordered take out for the last 3 months and have yet to dine inside. THANKFULLY the only stars you can then give in my opinion is on the FOOD, and this Peruvian food is ON POINT. Easily a once a week meal and on the verge of breaking into stardom once they figure out how to get the word out a little better.
So until then… I will just continue to enjoy the AMAZING tastes of their plates and sides that have not let me down once. The LOMO SALTADO is a once you try it, you crave it for the rest of your life. The Seafood rice is KILLER good and every side I tried has been perfect. The Empanadas are Fresh and worth every penny. The Fried plantain and Fried Maduro are a fresh new alternative to what we eat most of the time. Another GREAT attribute is that you can feel more than safe ordering your food and once you pick it up and take it home, THE FOOD TASTE LIKE ITS RIGHT OFF THE STOVE. A good temperature take out is hard to find and MUCHO GUSTO comes through every time.
Give this place a shot and do not let the «sticker shock» throw you off. The plates can feed a few people and the sides are nice portions. Order a few mains and a few sides and Guaruntee you will feel relieved that you finally have a new «Go To» for some amazing tasting food that is SUPER FRESH and tasty in the FONTANA area. And the food is Authentic to the core!

Chicken on the dish was very good, but the rice was dry and flavorless. I felt the meals were somewhat expensive. Would not recommend.

This was the first time I’ve tried Peruvian food, and they definitely made me want to come back! They make you feel right at home and are very helpful! I especially enjoyed the Lomo Saltado! The prices are reasonable to the amount of food you get. Can’t wait to go back and try more delicious food!

Very good variety of authentic Peruvian. Anticuchos are very good. Can’t expect it will be exactly like Peru but very very close. Pricing was reasonable as well. I will definitely be back with the rest of my Peruvian family.
