I love my neighborhood Rite Aid. Especially the hand scooped ice cream. Ask for a single scoop and I guarantee you’ll get way more than you would expect. Totally worth the money.

I wouldn’t even give this place a star! useless pharmacist. she said she needed to call our doctor. it’s 9pm and said oh it’s close. have you even heard of an answering service? I guess it’s too much work for her. worthless!

This rite-aid is right by my house so needless to say I come here often. If I need something quick like meds for when I’m sick, a gallon of milk or even a last minute BDay gift I come here. Its a little more expensive then most stores but the convenience factor is off the charts. I’ll pay a little more if its going to save some time when I’m in a rush.

On 1÷17÷15 I called in to the Pharmacy. Tracy helped me, I’ve never used this location to pick up my medication. She informed me I was out of refills for my medication. She tried getting a hold of my Dr. she was not able to do so. She really went out of her way to do everything she could, including lending me 3 days worth of medication until we get a hold of the Dr. I really appreciate her efforts on going above and beyond her duties.

I went to get chips for a trip to the lake and they only had a few, but then again everyone was buying them for the FIFA cup soccer game so I could understand. Other than that I got everything I wanted

Went with wife and son to get ice cream and they were out of mostly everything. We called to ask for the DM and they called the Manager Robert. We asked him why every time we come in there no ice cream. He said the Freezer is broken. For 2weeks. Don’t you have checks and balances to get somebody there to fix it. I wonder if the food is completely defrosted and then freezes again. Going back to the manager Robert and I quote«what do you want me to so about it.» No sorry or embarrassed about his out stocks in the store. He’s in our community and that’s not a good enough answer. He could if got ice cream from the freezer in the back(the ice cream they sell). But he has no Customer Service skills. No Sorry, no answer when the freezer would be fixed. This store might be why their Stock keeps dropping in price because there is no Customer Retention. First impressions are important. So now my 7 year old son. Who likes to go there is tired of the out of stocks and now will try somewhere else. So thanks a lot. I hope you continue to lose customers like the family of 5 you lost this week. Thanks Robert the Managwr

This is a decent Rite-Aid. The inventory is varied and they keep the store clean. The lines can get long in the evening and during the summer at the ice cream bar. The staff at the pharmacy are pleasant and prescriptions get filled fairly quickly.

Being a girly girl, I love shopping here for make up/nail polish deals. Now that summer is here, they’re selling cute shoes for a good deal at about 12 dollars. The store is always clean, and they’ve always got the items I need in stock. I find myself coming often for beauty hauls, candies or ice cream. I do have to agree with other Unilocalers that for some obscure reason, the employees here have ice blood or something. There was a sweet young man with glasses, dark hair; he was very helpful, but I don’t see him anymore. The short black lady. She always seems irked… guess she’s just like that. She ALWAYS gives me less ice cream than the other employees. Wait for someone else to handle ice cream duties. **Edit. Going to name drop now that I took time to look at the employee’s names. Victor for ice cream and some warm customer service. Desaree… I suggest you come back later if she’s handling your ice cream.

Items they hold are great, but their customer service definitely lacks.

Pretty convenient location for my needs. Clean store. In the end it’s like any other drug store, but it’s good in a pinch.

Their sweats are not the best quality. It retains moisture and smells more than sweats from other stores. The black sweats are probably the best color to get because it is able to hide most stains. The crotch tends to wear out fast also. After about 2 or 3 weeks worth of continuous wear, I could see fading and material degradation. It seems like the crotch almost dissolves and rots away from the moisture. The elastic bands in the waist and ankles doesn’t seem to have that much integrity. The elastic waist in my sweats broke inside the sweats. One way to prolong the life of their sweats is to buy their axe spray, which is located a couple aisles down from the clothing. Spray the axe liberally on the sweats, especially in the crotch area. I would say these sweats are a couple steps below Wal-Mart brand sweats. Target has the best, in my humble opinion.

If it wasn’t for the Thrifty’s ice cream, I wouldn’t come here. I haven’t met an employee that knows how to smile. I swear they are robots with skin! 5 stars for the ice cream, zero for the employees… This place averages a 3.

I love when Rite Aid has a sale at their ice cream counter. I still remember when it was $.45. Anyhow, I enjoy coming to this Rite Aid. Customer service is top notch here compared to some other Rite Aids in the area. It is rare that they don’t have the flavor ice cream that you would want.

We came here strictly for the Thrifty ice cream. It’s an easy 4 star quick-fix dessert that takes me back to the good old days. My only gripe is the light and sugar free offerings are exclusive and don’t have a fatty, more cholesterol-y, sugary counterpart. I got 1.75 quarts of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream in the brand new Breyer’s-like carton. They no longer use the flimsy carton with the tabbed sides. You know what I’m talking about. As you scoop it out, your hands become sticky from trying to keep the box steady, but it folds and you accidentally get ice cream on your hands from both the inside and the outside of the flaps. It melts quickly for some reason. Strangely enough, sometimes the ice cream leaks out of the corners and makes it more of a chore than it should be. But no matter, you still lick your hands clean of ice cream anyway. We also got Pecan Praline because it was two cartons for $ 5.00! Pecan Praline has become my newfound ice cream love. I’m rating this specifically for the experience. I went in, got ice cream, a friendly greeting and a «thank you, have a great day» from the cashier, and checked out of there. There were no surprises and it’s what you expect from a pharmacy.

$ 1.69 for two scoops of delicious ice cream. It will always be better than that trendy crap at Pinkberry. Just avoid Saturday nights, when the line seems to be 6 deep, and the person in front of you orders the last of your favorite flavor.

Why am I reviewing a Rite Aid, you ask? Well, it’s really not about the pharmacy itself. If you remember, for those of you grew up on Thrifty Ice creams for like $ 0.30 per cone, welp, they are now at Rite Aid! Woo hoo! They still have the same variety of flavors and the price? The price is still relatively cheap. For a single scoop, it’s $ 1.19. Can you believe that? I had the strawberry ice cream. Of course, the taste doesn’t really compare to those of Handel’s(which has the authentic strawberry flavor) or Cold Stone(which is much creamier). For $ 1.19 for a single scoop though, I’m not going to complain.
