Borrego Park

Great view but parking is far from ideal and no bleachers. Great place to go kick a soccer ball around or fly a kite but with that much room it could be so much more.

Views are awesome. You can see Catalina Island on a clear day. Playground is very small.

Borrego Park would be a great place for a small family picnic or get together. It is located next door to the Foothill Ranch library and features a full size soccer field as well as a couple of basketball courts. The park itself is very green and lush and kept up relatively well. They have a small trail around the park which will even take you down a paved sidewalk do the shopping center below and down into the Wilderness Trails as well.
A large green grass area encompasses most of the space in the park and would be perfect for a small family to play catch, frisbee or fly a kite and have a nice picnic style lunch. There is not much here in the bathroom area as it features a small bathroom in the park but is not one of the parks stronger points so you might be more inclined to look for other alternatives such as the library or stores down the hill. A great place to kill some time and look at the panoramic view of the neighborhood and neighboring trails.

This is a very nice park located next to the library. The soccer field is in pretty good shape and great to play on. There is a panoramic view of Saddleback Valley. Parking is limited. Be sure to go to the bathroom at home before coming to this park. There is a one stall restroom but… well, go before you come to the park.

This is an adorable park, up at the top of Foothill ranch. We came to play basketball, but there is also a place for soccer and a large field that people where playing with their dogs. It’s also large bough that if you walk to exercise, you can do some laps around. We happened to be there around sunset and it was very pretty being up on the hill, with all the trees around, and a bright gorgeous sun. Probably would be a great spot for picnics as well.
