My first time here. I got the combo plate. It was $ 18 and fed me for 2 meals. The ribs and chicken were both very good. A ton of high quality food for the price. I would definitely come back.

Not bad. Ordered medium rare steak, was just a minute or two past medium rare. Around 16 oz, pretty decent sized portions, same goes for the sides of fries and rice. Total was $ 21. Which I don’t think is expensive at all, not sure what the rest of reviews are complaining about.

Food tastes great I’m surprised the reviews here are horrible. But the prices aren’t great, and the serving is not great either. I wish they had beef ribs though. But I loved the chicken, rice and fries I ordered. Serve more food if you’re gonna charge $ 20!

If I could write a zero star review, I would. They list their menu online and then try to up-charge you an additional 25% when you walk through the door. I brought this to the attention of the management, and the woman basically shrugged her shoulders and refused to honor the prices they have listed online. I go out of my way to support mom and pop shops, but we’re living in the digital age — if you don’t know how to update your menu, don’t put it on the internet. Or, at the very least, don’t refuse to honor it when customers bring it to your attention. No clue how the food is – couldn’t get past the awful people running the joint.

Wish I could rate what I had. Yesterday at 1220pm I called to order a cheese steak and they were out of rolls. How do you run out of rolls at 1220pm ??

I’ve eaten from this place a few times as my Aunt likes to order their Rib Platters whenever we have a large family get together. Located in a small store front on New Brunswick Ave in Fords, across the street from the Post Office. While they do have tables, the inside is very small and you’re better off ordering to go. Be warned that parking here is difficult and at a premium. Let me just say that if you’re expecting mouth watering, fall of the bone, slathered in sauce ribs, this is definitely not the place. Ribs are always overcooked, with very little sauce/rub, if any. The result? Tough and chewy ribs, that at times, I end up spitting out some of it because the meat is too tough to chew. Only saving grace is that their BBQ Chicken is decent, along with their rice. Other than that, I would suggest going elsewhere for ribs.

I really dig this place. I get the Picadinho and the Combo Beef and Pork Ribs platter. The meats are all great, the rice is pretty decent, but the fries are unfortunately not that great to me. I feel like I get a good value for my purchase, a $ 30 dollar order can easily feed 4 people with probably some leftovers.

Under construction? What the??? Did it just open or is about to close? Maybe both. All the menu prices were taped over. They said 15 minutes for a sandwich so I got chicken. The chicken was grilled over charcoal and really good. Everything else was horrible. Fries, rice, tostones. No sauce, napkins, or fork. Now my screen is all gross from typing this.
