Menu is kinda lacking flavor, and I like the idea of a café, but this one seems poorly done. If your from a major town/​more of a metro area you will be disappointed. Overall needs to either change name from a café or have a more appropriate menu.

Pumpkin muffin, Delish… Mango tea, Delish… Macaroni & cheese with red peppers broccoli and chicken, amazing… Raspberry coconut pie… OMG
This place is a gem, in the most unassuming location!

I LOVE Café @ the mall! They have the best food by far in Rutherford County. Nothing ever disappoints from the brunches, lunch, and catering. I had my wedding cake done by them as well which I don’t think a lot of people know about that service that they offer. I really wish they were open for dinner!

A surprising find. Tucked into an aging mall that has seen much better days, the café offers fresh and delicious fare prepared to order. I had the café club on their own rye bread followed by Apple crumble pie a la mode and a great cup of coffee. one thing, though, bring a book if you’re dining alone — the 4G reception inside is terrible, and the wi-​fi is secured.

The word that comes to mind when I think of the café is freshness. We had a business in Spindale for years and whether we were having lunch or had a business meeting catered The Café always delivered fine quality food.

The food is delicious but the service is HORRIBLE! I have been a fan of Café at the Mall for years but due to the fact that I am vocal in other regards the owner Liz Rose, allowed me to buy an Italian Cream Cake THEN asked me never to come back! I was polite and paid for my food and left! I was shocked! It’s all because I do not agree with the church that all the employees attend.
After that, I can not in good conscious encourage people to patronize this place.

Exceptionally well-​prepared food delightful service and a very pleasant setting. When you come in expect to be wowed, expect to be impressed, expect your taste buds to be titillated. The café is expert at beating expectations!
When I was enjoying my lunch today they took a delivery of farm fresh eggs that’s a wonderful sign in terms of what where their getting their supplies from.
There are at least eight or nine breads available, eight or nine different types of cheese, all sorts of sauces and meats, all sorts of wonderful things to build an incredible sandwich out of.
Pair that sandwich was a wonderful soup or salad and you’ve got a lunch they can’t be beat.
I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s easily the best food in town.

Rutherfordton, NC
This is one of those places you don’t expect to find in Rutherford county. It is a wonderful departure from fast food. The food is very fresh and the owner, Liz Rose, finds her ingredients from local sources whenever possible. The cuisine ranges from homemade lasagnas, quiche, soups, sandwiches, deserts that are made in house, and fresh artisan breads that remind me of the fresh breads that they make in Europe.
They change the menu from time to time but I have yet to find something disagreeable. It is a bit more expensive than eating other places. I guess that is the price you pay for fresh ingredients. To me it is worth it.
My daughter says It SO GOOD!!!
She loves It!!!
