This place has the best Sushi in Rutherford County. I like the friendly service and the wide variety of oriental dishes.

I used to visit this location a lot a few years ago. Then I moved out of town. I came back recently and went here for dinner with my two teenage sons. We all enjoyed our meals. Staff wasn’t very attentive, the ambiance was ok. One of my sons and I tried their hibachi, not bad. None of us tried the sushi, it’s just not what we like. Will come back again in the future.

My mom and I went to visit today for lunch because I was craving chinese food and we had just walked out of the store beside it. They have recently remodeled and I used to love going there as a kid. We walked in. The remodel is nice, I will give it that, but that’s where the NICENESS ended. We were asked what we wanted to drink. We both ordered water because I’m pregnant and my mom is having kidney issues. Our water was placed on our table very fast. We went up to get our food. They had a good variety, and even had 4 different soups. We got back to the table, and NOTHING was hot. We went at lunch time(Around noon), so the food should have STILL been hot. It was all cold. My mom told the manager about it, and she gave the excuse that customers had complained that the building temperature was too hot, so they had TURNEDTHEFOODWARMERSOFF. So, instead of turning down the A/C to accommodate for the food warmers heating up the area of the building, we sacrifice safety of the customers to save a few bucks. My mom told her that it was cold, so then she offered to put my mom’s plate in the microwave. REALLY!!! At a buffet, I should receive HOTFOOD, not food cool enough to NEED to be put in the microwave. Mom said no, and that she just couldn’t eat it. I ate what little I got because, like I said, I’m pregnant and I was starving. LOL. So, the manager took mom’s plate off of our bill. And then NEVER came back to offer ME, a paying customer any more water, didn’t come by and ask if me if I needed anything, nothing. I paid for my meal, left $.0 tip(The manager was actually our waitress as well), and we left. I will NEVER again step foot in this establishment. I wish I could give them ZERO stars because that’s what they deserved. We will for sure be going to another Chinese restaurant from now on.

This place wasn’t really that impressive. The sushi was ok, and the rangoons were meh. The honey and garlic chicken was honestly just to garlicky, and my sister had the pineapple chicken which was said to taste like straight mayo. I would find somewhere different to eat.

I was not impressed. I’ve had much better buffet food at the same price. There was maybe one or two dishes that were okay, the rest were barely tolerable. The food is not very fresh. You can still order off a menu. They did not have fried dumplings on the buffet line, so we ordered off the menu. It was not very good even«fresh» like that. Very oily, and we could tell it was just the store bought frozen ones. They did have good ice cream(blue bunny!) and lychee available for dessert. I don’t see a lot of lychee on a buffet line, so I perked up when I saw them.

As we walked in the door we were greeted and ushered to a table. We gave our drink order, I had Diet Pepsi and my husband had iced sweet tea. We then walked over to the buffet and because it was a slow night the steam table pans were not even a quarter full of food. There were hand written signs plastered over the ends of the steam tables stating not to take more food than you were going to eat in order for them to keep costs down and be profitable. The serving utensils were kitchen spoons and tongs NOT buffet serving spoons and tongs so in one area where the steam table must have been on a higher temperature setting the spoon burned my hand when I tried to use it. Most items offered were typical such as sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, won ton soup, egg drop soup, cream cheese won tons, teriyaki chicken, honey chicken, roast chicken but there were very few beef dishes, in fact I can’t recall a single one but I’m sure there must have been a few. I took only a few pieces of any item as I wasn’t sure how I’d like their preparation and there was another sign admonishing take out containers must be completely closed or else an additional charge would apply. Even though I was dining in I feared if I didn’t eat every single morsel of food that I could possibly face an additional charge as well. I tried the sesame chicken which was passably warm and tasted about how I would expect, I tried something called honey chicken that was passably warm and tasted OK, fried spring roll I managed one bite and it had such an odd flavor to it that I gave it to my husband to finish. I got a skewer of teriyaki chicken that I managed one bite of and it was tough and stringy with a funky flavor unlike any teriyaki I’ve ever had, again I foisted this off on my husband to finish eating. I tried the sauteed green beans that were flavorless and still slightly uncooked inside as well as not being particularly warm. Overall I didn’t feel like the food was nearly as hot temperature wise as it should have been according to safe food standards. And several plates in stack had big chips in them which I had to dig to find an acceptable plate. There was a cold buffet as well that had some salad items, cake type dessert items, puddings, as well as some sushi which I was simply not daring enough to try after having not been impressed with anything thus far. Along the wall was a chest type freezer with the sliding glass doors that contained the big round containers of Blue Bunny Ice Cream and an odd assortment of spoons and various scoops for the ice cream. Clearly by the looks of the ice cream people were not diligent about avoiding cross containmination with other flavors. And the flavors were not identified by any signage. I got a couple of spoonfuls of what appeared to be a coffee flavored ice cream but upon tasting it the flavor was a bit off. Dinner buffet for two adults with two drinks was about $ 20-ish.
