Great wine and great staff. This place is fun to visit not only for their wine but also because they carry a few items like jam, bbq sauce from local vendors which are really good. Great views as well, fun place to take guest as well.

I absolutely love this place. Every wine I’ve tried is memorable and the setting is beautiful. They must be on your wine tour list. A gem.

Pretty winery but I grossed out by the flies and the staff didn’t care too much about it. They attempted to cover«some» snack-dishes with napkins. EWWWMUCH? Their wines were decent but nothing too special. Nice view though… but I’m not too impressed. :(

Thank you so much Toni for the very impromptu tasting for us 4 girlfriends 15 min before closing. I’ve been wanting to research out your tasting room and wines and was not disappointed. Such an array of whites in addition to the wonderful reds which is great when you have a mixed wine preference group. Then, to top it off, the beautiful grounds to sit back and enjoy a crisp, cool, bottle of Rose. Loved it and will be back for more!!!

We stopped in to the tasting room on Black Friday. We were greeted with warm smiles and the staff was very helpful. The wine is delicious and reasonably priced. Having tastings served by the wine maker made it even more special! Definitely want to add this stop to our annual tradition!

Went here for a Memorial Day tasting… this was my second time visitng. During our first visit, Toni spent ample time with us talking about the wine and answering our questions. We ran into her again during Memorial Day as well as the winemaker who was pouring for guests and answering questions about the wine. They had an amazing spread of food and took us back to the wine cave for additional tastings. Extremely friendly staff… amazing wine. We joined the wine club that day! Thank you for making it such a fun experience!

Dry, crisp wines. Italian style, which I didn’t know what that meant before but personally not to my liking but cute place and nice lady serving the tasting. $ 5 p.p. hours are Thursday– Monday 11−5pm

Love this place! My husband and I have been wine club members here for several years. They always have events. We never get to go because it seems like they are always on days and times when we are working or out of town. Well this summer we were able to go to 2 dinner on the patio nights. Really good food paired with the different wines. Love the Italian wines! Soleggio, Sangiovese! My faves. The people are super nice. Alfredo, the winemaker and his wife Laurine are super nice people. Toni the tasting room manager is a blast! I always laugh when I am around her. Such a good natured person. My personal wine pusher. He he! If you get a chance to stop by, you should. I discovered a great cheese that they were serving a few years ago. They told me the name of it and where I could buy it. So nice. This place is very friendly and not snooty and stuffy like many wineries.

Decent weather for late-February(i.e «not raining») so my wife and I decided to scoot out of the house and take in a few local wineries. One of our stops was Apolloni Vineyards. I really like Italian reds so naturally I was looking forward to some of Apolloni’s offerings. I wasn’t disappointed. They had a Sangiovese that was just fantastic, and I believe the other was a Soleggio that was quite good as well – nice and smooth but definitely had that Italian«feel» to it. The icing on the cake was an ice-style Viognier. I’ve never been much a Viognier fan, but they absolutely hit it out of the park with this one. If you’re a lover of sweet white dessert wines, don’t pass this one up. Wife wound up batting her eyes at me and I caved – took a bottle of it home. $ 5.00 tasting fee, waived if you buy a bottle. Great place. We’ll be back with friends.

Excellent experiences. Always. Wines: Estate Pinot Nior is smoky and bright. Yum. Really citrusy Chard that I(uncharacteristically) enjoyed. Tangerine? Viognier. Very sweet. Sweeter than most Viognier. Not my thing. Maybe it’s yours. Laurine. Very good. Not too tanniny– which is what I thought it would be when I smelled it. Pinot Blanc. My personal favorite. It was perfect. Pears!

I had a fantastic time visiting Apolloni! I visited with the husband on one of the last gorgeously warm weekends of the year, after hearing a stellar recommendation from a friend of ours. We took part in the tasting, since we’d never sampled their wines before. I’m partial to the lighter wines, but miraculously, I did enjoy the majority of their reds. The 2009 Viognier rocked my world. HOLYWINELOVERS! It’s a ice wine that’s described as «candy for adults». It was amazing, but I could bathe in dessert wine, I like it that much. Our wine hostess was really fun to talk to, very laid-back and genuinely interested in the wines and the Apolloni process. We ended up taking a glass of crisp, cool 2009 Pinot Grigio outside to enjoy the warm day on their shaded patio area. They have these cute water features made of wine barrels that I wondered if I could somehow fashion for my own backyard. We’ve considered joining a wine club, and theirs is high on our list. They also have these fabulous dinner/wine pairing events that I’m dying to go to this coming summer. For as awesome as it appears to be, the dinner events seem reasonably priced. Oh — and they have pies. At least they did when we were there. Since the way to my heart is often through tasty desserts and flavorful wine, I’d have to say Apolloni definitely has a piece of my heart!

Chose the wrong weekend to go for a tasting I think. They were having a party for their cellar club members so it was very busy. Wines were pretty good and they had multiple varieties which was very nice. The staff was friendly but we almost felt like we were second rate citizens because we weren’t members of their cellar club. Probably won’t go back but who knows, it is conveniently located along Hwy 6.

A great winery outside of Banks, on the way to the coast on Hwy 6. They are always friendly, have great wines, and Alfredo, their winemaker, always takes the time to chat with newbies, and advise on choosing a great wine. Well worth the trip.

Always a fan of red blends, the 2006 Soleggio rocked my socks. A smooth mix of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cab Sauv that keeps me wanting more, more, MORE! I’ll be back for the chocolate pairing they’ll be hosting around Valentines Day. By the way, the ice wine style Viognier was great as well… and I don’t dig dessert wine.
