I travel a lot so I am always looking for a great coffee shop, with lite lunch fare, in a cozy environment that also allows me to work on computer AND make quiet phone calls! I know – asking for waay too much. Found this place and it fits all of my needs! The staff was amazingly helpful. I gave up bread for Lent so am struggling to find protein style sandwiches(wrapped in lettuce). After stating my issue the staff came up with a perfect combo of soup and tuna with lettuce. The Turtle Pie Mocha is dessert in a cup! The food was great. However the real treat was the service to others that I observed sitting in my quiet alcove. Many customers were immediately greeted by name, regular orders announced by memory(even down to some exact temperatures required!). Every staff member that rotated the register was equally friendly and knowledgable! True art! I will be back when in town again!

Delicious coffee and a cute atmosphere. Nothing not to like. Staff is always friendly and polite, while being relatively quick for their staff size. Always come by when I’m in town. Try the Turtle Latte!

Great local coffee spot, they roast local coffee! Cozy nooks for a little privacy, amazing coffee accessories for the coffee connoisseur. You can purchase green beans here for the home roaster!

Good prices on locally roasted coffee, I really enjoy the rotating specialty roasts. Cute atmosphere, nice staff. I am a drip coffee to-go on the way to work kind of customer, but if I lived in this area I could see myself hanging out here.

This is my favorite coffee shop, with excellent and friendly service, and excellent coffee. I especially love their house espresso and also recommend the Sumatra Mandeling and the Ethiopian yirgaschiffe. Their mochas are my hands down favorite. There is a really neat coffee roaster by the front door as well as several ceiling-high Arabica coffee trees(real, not fake!). On a recent visit, I had a buttery meredine pastry that was to die for.

The coffee we got was terrible. It had a grainy/powdery type texture and just didn’t taste very quality. Zero stars for the coffee. One star for the food. We each got a deluxe breakfast burrito which for $ 5.50 I was surprised at how small they were. The burritos were pretty decent but the lack of bacon was a big disappointment and the liquid cheese sauce was pretty gross as well. We won’t be going back here.

Bj’s never disappoints. Their coffee is on point. I love the snickers mocha. It is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee and get some work done. Their pastries are also very good. The staff is attentive and friendly.

Hard to believe I didn’t spend more time here when I actually lived in Oregon but now coming back is such a treat for me. Sitting there and seeing the people that come through the doors, you can definitely tell that this is one of the main coffee places that people from Forest Grove regularly frequent. Pros– inviting atmosphere, lots of places to sit and read, study, catch up with long lost friends — incredibly friendly baristas with a lot of knowledge about their products — fair trade coffee and fair trade chocolates for sale(always am amazing thing to find) — finally I tried two different coffee roasts during my weekend in Forest Grove and both were great. One was Sumatra and the other was an Ethiopian roast. I must say, for me the Ethiopian roast was one of the most interesting and complex coffee roasts I have had the opportunity to taste. Definitely a must try for coffee drinkers.(Or tea drinkers who want to be adventurous)

I enjoy BJ’s on a summer afternoon and feel like saying hello to the local neighborhood. Sometimes on my way out the grocery store on my way home.

BJ’s is a great little local coffee house. I’ve been there a number of times, but this occasion was while we were waiting for our car battery to get swapped over at Les Schwab a block west. So Wife N. and I had an hour to kill, and decided to head over to BJ’s Coffee Co. They feature all the expected coffee-esque items(coffee, latte’s, Americanos, etc.) and also have some pretty good edibles. Wife N and I shared a lovely berry cream-cheese filled pastry that was just fantastic. I also had a turkey sandwich that was great — good amount of meat, tomatoes, cream cheese – nice sandwich. This is one of those coffee shops with that small-town feel. You know how you walk into any Starbucks and have roughly the exact same experience, same look and feel, same crowd, same«get in get out get moving» crowd? BJ’s isn’t like that. BJ’s is that small town, same people every day, locals and cops hang here, piano-in-the-room that you can play and just a fantastic and lovely staff, with BJ almost always there watching over things. This is the coffee place you go to get your cup of whatever, brought to your table, and you just relax and hang out for a while. And it’s great. Yeah, you’re sucking down the caffeine which is(naturally) pumping up that heart rate, but everything else in here gives off that«just relax and hang out» vibe. Coffee quality is great — small family place that roasts their own coffee, and the edibles are good as well. I don’t come here nearly enough. I really should more often.

The coffee is good and they do have an extensive drink list. The atmosphere is kind of mixed, sometimes loud, sometimes nice. BJ ‘s is good but there’s no direct competition in town. I do like that people actually come here to have conversation.

I have been buying my beans here for about a year. They always have a good variety of freshly roasted beens. It’s usually a good sign when you walk into a coffee place & the first thing you see are roasting machines! Everyone is always friendly & prices are great for high quality coffee.

I keep going back, for the friendly staff, the welcoming atmosphere and the sweets. The coffee is okay, average really, but everything else is great. We will keep coming back.

Was in the area again today. Was out at the Tuality hospital for work. Thought I’d stop on by. The service was amazing. I was sitting in a lovely leather chair. Using their free WiFi on my iPad. They brought my hot coffee to me, smiled and asked if there was anything else I wanted. High class coffee shop right there. I wish I could take that staff home with me an enslave them.
