Huge selection of all different kinds of sake. If I remember correctly, it was 5 – 6 tastings for $ 5 per person. The tastings were a very generous pour that you could probably share with another person. Our server was very informative and taught us quite a bit about sake and guided us through our tasting. I can’t wait to come back to the Portland area to visit SakeOne again.

Very cheap! 6 flights for $ 5! Lots of varieties of sake. But there wasn’t one that I truly really liked. All were too sweet for my taste. The workers there were all friendly and knowledgable.

Good selection of sake. You can only taste ten sakes if I remember correctly, whether you are driving or not. I would skip the sake pairing, we didn’t find it to be good, it was just whatever. –Nice and knowledgeable staff, you can learn a lot about sake you didn’t know! No ubers or anything around that area if your visiting and don’t have a car

Attended a sake and food pairing with a member of their club so this was my first time. The setting and weather were perfect. Each one of the varieties of sake was explained nicely. The Thai food pairing was a great match. Over all experience was great and would highly recommend it. And yes a sake brewer in Oregon wine country! We also went through the tour of the brewery, very interesting. The place is spotless. the only small nit picky thing was the tour seemed a bit rushed, but it did hit all the big points and since this was a club member’s event, maybe is was abbreviated. Last stop was the tasting room, wanted to try some of the Nama –unpasteurized sake, that you can only get at a brewer. It was lively and very good. Oh, and they sell growlers! Definitely worth the short trip out!

Some great sake made right here. Offers detailed factory tours. Impressive. Indoor and outdoor seating. Go and sip some sake but do a flight first to see what you like best. Very reasonable prices for high quality product.

We had so much fun here the other week! I went with a group of family/friends who all love sake, but I was never a huge sake fan myself. This place changed my mind! They really have something for everyone. We went to the tasting room, and the staff was so incredibly friendly when helping us pick out our samples. Since I wasn’t a huge sake person, they gave me the ruby red and three fruity ones. I loved all of them and even liked a few of the not so sweet ones that my friends let me try. Four samples for $ 3 was a great deal too. My boyfriend loved the sake so much that he ordered a bottle to be shipped to his mom as a gift. I would love to come back here the next time I am in Portland. I hope to take a tour of the facility next time as well– this time there was an event going on so we were only able to experience the tasting room. Still such a fun time though!

Great place for locally made sake. I love the plum sake. One case costs about 100 bucks, totally worth it. Why buy at the store when you can go here instead?

I love sake. I love the variety that Sakeone offers of their own and Japanese imports. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Tasting is not rushed, but rather a very enjoyable experience. The outdoor area is very nice when the weather cooperates, but the indoor area has several places to sit and a large enough bar for several parties to taste simultaneously. Great way to get introduced to the fabulous world of sake!

I am not the biggest sake fan but it is always fun to tour their manufacturing plans and do a tasting. I bring company from out of town and it is just one of those things that makes little, old Forest Grove so special.

Delightful! A great experience even if you’re not into sake usually. The staff is very educated and is very good at explaining everything to you and will help you find something(if not many things) that you enjoy. I loved the G fifty for its fresh almost gin-like botanicaly flavor profile and lovedd the coconut lemongrass infused sake. I didn’t make it in time for a tour but have heard from many people that it is just great. Highly recommend!

Great tour of the first sake brewery in the US. We were the only people on the tour, so we had the guide’s full attention. If we came on Tuesday to Thursday, there would have been more people, but the factory would have been bustling with production activity. The guide was very good in explaining the whole process even though nothing was going on. The tasting room was beautifully decorated and the hostess/server was welcoming and knowledgeable. We both tasted the flight of four for $ 3, a great bargain. There is a $ 5 option for more tastings, and a $ 10 option with food parings. This was a great place to get initiated into the sake experience.

My favorite and only Sake brewery in Oregon. I like this place so much I’ve been here 5 – 6 times over the years. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the brewing process and the different types of sake. I love they have fresh sake on tap and a few cocktails. All of the sake is very unique and different in flavors for every occasion. They even have seasonal sake brews for tasting. Great value for the tour and flights. Overall I would come here again.

you can do a day of sake and wine tasting in Forest Grove. That’s exactly what we did. Be sure to go on the tour of the sake brewing tanks. You will appreciate the care taken of this old world traditional beverage. We had started our sake flights before the tour and picked it back up after the tour. The sake was poured into stemless wine glasses and enjoyed like wine. We went home with momofuku Nigori style bottle of sake as well as some imported ones. I especially liked the small imported cans of sake, that I can’t remember the name of.

Absolutely wonderful. You must visit here if you are anywhere near this place. I have yet to take the full tour, but just the knowledge of John, our sake taste pourer, and the fact that you can really wet your whistle with the $ 5 flight of six sakes, make this place awesome. We will be going back soon! Try the unpasteurized sake, Nama, it’s amazing!

This is one of those awesome and unique places that really works well to distinguish itself from other tasting rooms in the area. With a great staff that really have a passion for Sake, they are inviting and make the next part of my review, less awkward to join… THESAKECLUB!!! For $ 35/$ 65 every other month, you are given well beyond the worth of Sake… which is great, but if you live in the area… the absolute best part is, this membership gives you 1x/day sake taste flights, which you can bring up to 4 friends to join in. EVERYDAYTHEYAREOPEN… FORFREE(WAAAA???) This also gives you exclusive member discounts and invites to sake and food pairing events. If you want to leave a tip, bring cash. I was embarrassed that I didn’t have cash on me nor is there a spot to write in a tip for your pourer on the receipt if you are paying with a card. One more note, I was not a fan of sake… however, I really got a lesson on how different each one is and there is truly something for everyone.

Great experience to visit here — if you go on the tour just be prepared that it can get hot in there! We ended up leaving the tour group early because it was too hot and we also wanted to start on our sake tasting before the big rush of people when the tour ends. We had 4 tastings and also got to sample one of their saketinis. Our favorite was the plum-infused sake — really nice color and taste to it. We also bought one of the sake sets that had panda faces painted on them. The best experience is to probably go on a weekday as the weekends can get quite busy.
