They have a great selection of frames and helpful staff. Kind of pricey, but you’d expect that for the brands.

I came into the store when I had scratched my glasses expecting a slight adjustment to my prescription. I saw Dr. Levine on a Saturday without an appointment. Although I had worn glasses for reading, Dr. Levine informed me that I required a major adjustment. He took extraordinary care with my appointment because I was a «difficult diagnosis»(with several different conditions that he was surprised that had not yet been diagnosed sooner) and was careful in not adjusting my prescription too much at once. He was very patient and kind, and I can see better now than I have in a long time. I wish I had made an appointment there much sooner. The staff got my glasses to me quickly. The overall cost of the frames and the prescription was somewhat pricey. I did subsequently receive several complements in the frames I chose. I did not give them 5 stars because they said I did not have prescription coverage when in fact I did. I have since moved out of the area or else I would have returned to the store.

It is an oversight on my part that I haven’t reviewed Continental Vision sooner. Why come here? Fantastic personalized service. I always walk out with a pair of glasses or sunglasses that look awesome on me. I consistently get compliments on my frames. Why would you go anywhere else? I wouldn’t. Robert is my favorite sales person there. Renee, the owner is awesome too.

They deal out some of the most interesting glasses in the city. Avoid the short temper owner, a tall blond woman, & you’ll be fine.

Definitely a very good place to have your eye needs taken care of. I had an examination done about 1 month prior out of state and by a chain vision center. the young lady that was assisting me was very patient while I perused the choices, not just that day, but the two additional days it took until I made my decision. I felt the prices were quite fair, the turn around time to get my glasses done was most expedient. I never felt pressure to get into a designer, high priced frame, which caused me to purchase a designer, more expensive frame. So, even though I went back to South Carolina, when my contacts were about to run out and need renewing, I called over to CVE. Personal relationships are important to me and they do influence my purchasing decision significantly. From the time I walked in, until the end of our last transaction, I felt very well taken care of. In fact, that is why my prior eyeglass store lost my business. They lost their personal touch.

I’ve had glasses my whole life, so I’m no stranger to visting and buying new glasses. I’ve done it all from the big name stores to the small mom and pop stores. I really do prefer the one on one experience you get at mom and pop stop. Continental is no exception. Great and friendly staff. I already knew the glasses that I wanted, they didn’t have them in stock because they model was discontinued. But they went out of their way to find and order the model I wanted. Their prices are very reasonable and competitive, and since i was already ordering glasses, I added prescription sun glasses as well. There was never any pressure or «up-selling». It was one of my best eye glass experiences.

Everything about my visit here today was spectacular! The sales staff & Dr. Levine could NOT have been nicer. I must say that I really appreciate sales people who 1– Really listen 2– Actually care 3– Are honest but not rude. They all embody each of these traits and are just fun to be around. Hell, I’d work here if I could. It’s an interesting setup, in that the glasses are not really displayed for people to peruse. Personally, I like this because the staff listens to you and brings you things you might not ordinarily entertain the idea of trying on! I ended up buying 2 pairs of glasses that I LOVE, but had I seen them myself in a display case would have undoubtedly thought, «not a chance in hell are those going on my face!» It also makes for a much less overwhelming experience. I find the task of looking through hundreds of glasses to be daunting and I always end up feeling like I’m bothering the staff at a place like Lens Crafters when I need them to keep unlocking things for me. Dr. Levine really listened to me and I found him to be very thorough. He definitely put me more at ease than any optometrist I’ve ever seen(I’ve been going for about 17 years now.) You can tell that he knows his stuff and is more than happy to answer any questions you might have. As far as the glasses go, yes it’s expensive. But where are glasses inexpensive these days?! With unique taste and retail markup comes high prices. It’s just that simple. For someone like me who lives in glasses from the moment she wakes up until the moment she goes to bed, it’s a fact of life. So, I get new glasses every few years when I can find a way to afford them. What can I say? I’m not a designer shoe, bag or dress girl. But when it comes to something on my face? That’s my Achilles heel. They seem to take most major eye care plans, so you’re likely to have the exam covered as well as a little bit of a discount when it comes to frames and lenses. But seriously, folks — the experience is worth it since glasses are a fortune anywhere you go.
