I stop into this shop every now and then while window shopping with my wife. They have a great selection of ties, bow ties, socks and lapel pins that separate dapper looking folks from the crowd. The shop is intimate and immaculately laid out with an Italian feel. Also, the music in there is always on point. The owner of the shop, Dmitry, is usually operating the store and always provides great service. Just now he offered us a free lapel pin after changing our minds about wanting to purchasing it. It was a sweet an unexpected gestures like this that makes me happy to support small businesses.

Dmitry ties are extremely high quality and compare to the nicest designer ties you can find. I was skeptical when I walked into the store (since in the past I stuck with Ted Baker ties) but was shocked at how nice the ties were and how fairly they’re priced. Dmitry’s is definitely my go-to place for ties.
Dmitry himself is a great guy. Extremely friendly, warm and patient. Sometimes you worry when walking into a small store that you’re going to get pressured to buy, but that’s definitely not the case here. Dmitry helped me hand-pick my ties based on the season and the style I was looking for and he was spot on.
Would highly recommend this store to anyone. Can’t beat the quality for the price anywhere.

Dmitry’s ties has a great selection for every type of man. He has ties, socks, shirts, shoes– he has it all! The colors and patterns can leave you wanting to buy everything. Dmitry is helpful and kind and this is the go to store for men!

This is a very nice place for fine ties and socks on Austin for men. What I love most about their ties is that they have the slim ones as well the regular size ties… which is hard to find in most places. My boyfriend and father tend to prefer the slim ties which is great for gifts!
He is also incredibly nice and helpful.

Dmitry has a wonderful sense of color and pattern; I’ve been intrigued by his eye-catching displays since the store opened on Austin Street and when he started carrying his beautiful patterned socks, I was smitten.
Now I buy all of my socks from him (I wear a women’s size 9 shoe, so the socks fit) and stop in to chat whenever I’m on Austin Street. If more clothing stores of this caliber took a chance on Austin Street and Forest Hills (this means YOU Anthropologie), it would be heavenly!

Help. I have collected 30+ of Dmitry’s handsome ties so far … and, I really need to stop this addiction soon. (For a while, at least.)
I can now comfortably sport skinny ties with loud colors and patterns … and, I’m not even sure if I should thank or blame Dmitry for that.
Well, I must admit, I do enjoy the extra attention my ties (and I) elicit from other gents …

I love Dmitry. Great selection, reasonable pricing, and super customer service. What more could you want? The selection of both ties and shirts are of the highest quality and Dmitry’s personal service is a welcome change to being largely ignored in other shops. I don’t buy ties often but when I do it’ll only be from Dmitry.

I wanted to get a nice birthday gift for a friend, and when I walked into Dmitry store, my jaw dropped! I never expected to see so many ties. They ranged from different colors and patterns.
I couldn’t decide what I wanted. Dmitry is very knowledgeable in selecting ties to depending the type of a man. I gave a perfect description of my friend. There were so many ties to choose from, and it took me three hours to settle for 4 ties. :)
Two years, later, my friend cannot stop talking of how good they are, and how many compliments he’s received. The quality is amazing!

Dmitry has wonderful lookin ties but extremely overly priced. They have the worse sale signs that doesn’t appeal to anybody who walks or drives past their store front. Dmitry has a nice display of their ties but come on, just because your store is in Forest Hills, it doesn’t mean you gotta charge Manhattan prices for just ties and shirts. Service here is great but I can’t stress how lousy their sales could be sometimes.

This guy knows ties! I bought a groupon for this place and when I went it, I was overwhelmed by such a broad assortment of beautiful cravats. Dmitry was very helpful with my selections, and truly knows men’s style. They have a great special running, 3 ties for $ 99, it’s like a sore dick, you just can’t beat it!

This store is awesome. Every time I come in, I am helped to the fullest extent, the staff is wonderful; they genuinely want to help!
I always find what I am looking for from ties to shirts to their seasonal items such as scarfs or men’s bracelets.
Dmitry has such a unique style that will make any man look good! He def makes mine look amazing.
I love the BRIGHT ties, it will suit any man!
Did I mention the wide range of a selection!?!
You can never go wrong if you come in, you will def find what your looking for!
