Nina Gupta, MD

I have been visiting Doctor Gupta (formally Noori) for over 14 Years. She is my primary physician and the primary provider for all my children. She is always professional and always seeks the holistic approach to healing first. She has helped me during some difficult illnesses and continues to follow up on my wellness after each visit. To give you an idea how much I value her opinion I live in Manhattan however I travel to the ends of Queens to see her even though I can have a local physician! She is truly the best!

There should be a minus star or the option for ZERO STARS, this Doctor has nothing but arrogance, I supposed she’s so abundantly wealthy that she can afford to turn away new patients the way she did to me this afternoon!
I called Dr. Nina Gupta, MD this afternoon after my cousin found her business online, and saw that she accepts my health insurance. They took my information over the phone and said that the Dr. was accepting new patients. I explained that I needed to be seen regarding my thyroid and that I am taking armor thyroid medication but need a good doctor for care. They asked me to come in today before 7pm. I told them that I was on my way and would be there in 30 minutes or less, I was traveling from Astoria and would be taking the subway, I called when I got to Austin street and the receptionist talked to me guiding me all the way to the building over the phone.
I got off the elevator and it seemed like a few other patients were also going to the same medical office, I explained that I was the patient that called and that’s when Dr. Gupta said I would have to wait until all the other patients were seen since it is a first come first serve basis. But I called on the phone and I wanted to know that I could not wait that long, I work for NBC News and have an early call time of 3:00am! I explained this but Dr. Gupta said that her patients have been coming to her for 20 years. She was obviously annoyed and asked me why I was there, in front of the whole office I had to tell her my medical history!!!
She walked away and no one on her staff would vouch that I had called 30 minutes before everyone else! I wanted to know how long the wait was going to be and NO ONE COULD TELL ME. Clearly Dr. Gupta is a doctor who has no consideration for new patients who travel to her office as the behest of her reception staff, I was not merely walking in off the street, I had an appointment but there is no proper system for her appointments.
NO ONE APPOLOGIZED TO ME AFTER I HAD TRAVELED ALL THE WAY TO THE OFFICE AND I WAS NOT EVEN BEING ASKED TO WAIT A RESONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME, WHEN I ASKED HOW LONG, THEY ANSWERED «IT’S GONNA BE AWHILE» WELL HOW LONG IS THAT??? THIS OFFICE WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND WASTED MY TIME!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Gupta for about three years.
Amazing Dr. Wonderful staff.
Sometimes the wait time can be a bit long. But she’s worth it.

I read reviews of her on vitals, so I thought I’d try her out. Bad idea. She is a lung doctor, and she doesn’t know how to use a nebulizer? Really?
