Re-​located to Minnesota from California a few months ago (yes, just in time for winter lol) — and haven’t found a barber that meets the high expectations set by my original barber back home.
Walked into a Fleetfarm and spotted a guy with a hypster cut (clean cut, tight lines, fade, beard, etc.) — he recommended Mitch Gogins at Downtown Barbers in Forest Lake. Super nice, friendly, down-​to-​earth guys.
The price is right! And took me way back to my childhood barber cuts — with the old fashioned hot lather shave in the back.
Thanks guys! Will definitely be coming back soon — and will recommend you highly. :)

I may be a bit biased since my big brother is the owner. But, Downtown Barber’s is a great place to get your haircut. Granted, I don’t get my haircut there. I know the barbers and their work. Both do great work.
While, getting your haircut isn’t enough. You will also, be caught up on all the latest news in Forest Lake. And while you wait read the local paper, with a handful of peanuts and catch up on what ever channel is on the shop tv.
