Went to this store twice, looking for a rifle and some gear. Both times they were too busy to help. Both times it appeared that the staff were just shooting the shit with the locals. We decided to take the longer drive to Cabellas to spend a nice chunk of change. I won’t shop at this particular gander mountain again.

Nothing like waiting until the last minute for gifts. Enter Gander Mountain. Stopped in for a gift that my dad really liked and will actually use. The guy helping us was really helpful, outgoing and friendly. It’s rare to find a good story teller in a sales person. Delightful gentleman. There is nothing at this store that I would really want or need, they do have quite the selection for the outdoor enthusiast. Kayaks, hunting gear, some ammo, a barrel full of pretzels, one of the biggest beverage cups I’ve ever seen and just about everything in that mossy hunting theme. Store is quite large and has a lot of different things. Not my cup of tea, but I’m a fan for this place being open and having the right gift when I needed it! Customer service was excellent! They have a little truck in the parking lot that was selling hot dogs and mini– donuts. I guess there is a demand for those.
