Not sure what were expecting, but this was not it. At first look the menu seemed very promising. We ordered the Bruchetta to start with. Edible, but very heavy handed with the Balsamic. Ordered Beef Stroganoff & Baked Ravioli as main courses. The ravioli had freezer burn taste and way too little sauce. The side of Italian sausages was excellent and almost made up for the main dish The stroganoff was very generous with the meat. Too bad I’d was very overdone and tough. The sauce was congealed on the bottom so it might have been sitting for a while before coming out to the table Overall, next time I’m in town, it will be somewhere different

We had brunch here with my in-laws on Sunday morning. It’s definitely nothing special. I think most of the food was frozen or prepackaged. The buffet consisted of french toast sticks, breakfast meats, runny eggs, potatoes, eggs benedict and a bowl of strawberries and cantaloupe. I think they used Kraft singles cheese on the potatoes and eggs… The cost of the buffet is $ 9.95, which isn’t really that cheap for the quality of food you are getting. You can spend a few dollars more and get a great buffet elsewhere. They do, however, have $ 3 bloody mary’s and mimosas.

This location has changed hands and names many times throughout my life. The current tenants don’t seem to be doing anything special to keep from going the way of their predecessors. On a beautiful day I met my parents here for lunch, they have a decent patio so we figured we’d sit outside and enjoy the lake view. After being sat and having drinks delivered it took a whopping 15 minutes before our waitress even made another appearance(several other patrons were on the patio waiting for service as well). This wasn’t such a big deal for my Dad since he had their lunch buffet, all you can eat for $ 7.95. I’d like to complain that the mash potatoes were instant and not good quality but the price matches the quality of food. After the waitress made it back outside it took a little while longer for her to make it to our table. Apparently the art of multitasking is lost on this one: she would go to one table, get their request and then fulfill before moving on to the next table(because it is so0o0o0o hard to swipe someones credit card while your waiting for drinks to come up from the bar, definitely can’t do that at the same time). The poor and slow service continued throughout the entire meal, which doesn’t bode well for the restaurant since you traditionally have your best servers cover a patio area. My Mom got a prime rib sandwich, she was pretty happy with it. I got an Italian roast beef sandwich, the bun was a decent foccacia but the sandwich was missing the advertised sauteed peppers and onions. Overall, the prices were low, but be prepared to keep your standards equally low.
