I haven’t done a side-by-side price comparison and it’s not a straight-from-the-farm kind of setup, but if you want great fruit and veggies and don’t have time to schelp through Sweet Auburn or YDFM then pop online and place your order. Word-to-the-wise, these are the Athena Farms folks and deliver to tons of local restaurants so try and remind them of that when you order or they may show up for delivery at 6am. The produce is great though, it’s always clean and fresh and beautiful. Great selection and variety and with next day delivery I have little excuse to not whip up awesome salads for lunch everyday. They have started expanding the selection here and there with dairy and some random grocery staples, sadly they aren’t quite WebVan yet, but working on it!

I’m upgrading my review of My Produce Guy because I now adore them. I am addicted to their coconuts, plantains and papayas. I love that they deliver to me the very next morning. I have also recently ordered fresh mint and cilantro, white mushrooms, jalapenos, red cabbage, cucumbers and lemons, and everything was reasonably priced and excellent in quality. Some of their products seem a little pricey to me(for example, their pineapples and avocados never go on sale like they do in the grocery store) but most stuff is offered at a great price. I also recently noticed that they have infused oils from Sweetwater Growers and those are delicious. Shipping is free although they do charge a $ 5 packaging fee for all the fancy insulation and stuff. To work around this, I just make sure I order a bunch of stuff at a time. I see myself ordering from them on a weekly basis because their products are great and because I am lazy. But, mostly because I really love them.
