We’ve had a lot of phở in a lot of different places and this stands-up to ones we’ve had in Chinatown, NYC and our favorite in Richmond. I’ve tried other things on the menu and they are delicious as well. I highly recommend.

Every time I am in Lynchburg(approximately once/twice a month) this is my go-to place. Their phở is amazing and authentic, service is prompt and very friendly. I highly recommend the phở special(with meat) which is out of the world delicious, but their seafood phở is also very good. They even managed to «convert» my fiancé to eating phở! :)

I had the stir fry chicken and vegetables. Delicious light sauce. Summer rolls with pork were so tasty. Will return.

I love Phở and came here based on the reviews I read on Unilocal.Unfortunately my experience was a disappointment. The phở had no flavor and my side of bean sprouts, lime and pepper were dried out and wilted. The tables were dirty and I wouldn’t dare try to use the seasonings provided on the tables because they looked as if they had been left there untouched and dirty for quite some time. The egg rolls were greasy and heavy. Definitely not the Vietnamese food I am accustomed to eating.

I came here for the first time today with a huge group of friends. They were able to kindly accommodate all 14 of us, which was great(it’s usually hard for us to be seated all together during Sunday lunch hours). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food took a little longer than we expected, but we did have a large group. I ordered the #3 and was impressed for the most part. It’s probably the best phở I’ve had in this area Lynchburg. I was also able to try their fried spring rolls and was very pleased. I am excited to be back to try the other items on the menu.

The restaurant finally had the items on the menu we wanted to order so I suppose that is an improvement but a major fail for the rest of the experience. I ordered an avocado smoothy… It literally tasted of dirt and nothing of avocado. Our food arrived shortly before 9. Before I had even finished, we were asked to leave because the restaurant closed at 9(which was not clearly marked or we would have gone elsewhere in the first place). They still had the Open sign lit and they hadn’t even begun to bus other tables but we needed to leave in the next 5 minutes. I will never step foot in this establishment again.

For Lynchburg this is great phở(it maybe the only phở). Either way, the food is good. Service however is spotty. I have been numerous times and the service has never been great, but it can vary quite a bit from day to day. One experience with 3 kids and waited over an hour for our food. The next time, I was served in 15 minutes. Neither day was incredibly busy.

I was hesitant to eat here but glad I did. The food tastes fresh. I have tried several lunch plates and were very well prepared. The place was clean and staff friendly. Food does come out slower than I’m used to but no complaints here. Try it once and you will be hooked and don’t be afraid to ask what they recommend.

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant, especially for a relatively small town. Has over 100 items on the menu, most of which are traditional Vietnamese dishes. Hubs & I had the #20 House Special, a delicately seared pork, BBQ shrimp, spring roll, salad, & bean sprouts. Only giving it a 4 because the service was a bit slow initially.

Menu has great variety and I appreciated how it was organized. Took a little while to get the food but the service was good. Fish tank was green and gross in the dining area. The Food Network was also playing in the dining area, which I believe is never a good idea for a restaurant. As far a food quality, the phở was a little bland compared to what I have had before. May return.

I love phở. I’ve eaten it in quite a few major cities in the US as well as other locations here in va. Compare to other experiences this Phở lacks the flavor in the broth that I am used to. It wasnt bad just lacking in flavor. The service was good and the food took a bit of time but not terribly long. The noodles were slightly under cooked in my opinion as well. I would like to go back and try the steak phở and see if it is better. The menu seems quite extensive compare to other places and the location is clean and modern.

I’m Vietnamese, and I’m so happy and glad to see this great Vietnamese restaurant that’s just a mile away from me! The menu is diverse, the food is excellent, and the service is good! Small, but cozy. I’m definitely returning and bringing friends and family! I highly recommend this place!

Took a very long time to get our lunch. Over an hour wait and the only one, then another 15 mins for the second. And the place was not real busy. A group of 3 got up and let after waiting. I had fried rice. Flavor was nothing special. Guess I should know better as this is a Phở place. Guess I should have had the Phở. Friend had some kind of beef with noodles and said it was good flavor. Came in and was very warm, they did not have A/C on in mid July. Did get them to turn it on though. No diet drinks except water. Other soda is just Pepsi, 7up ect. Will not return.

The food that I ordered was good however surprising this place being so new did not have lots of the dishes on the menu! Finally we were able to order what we wanted & it was excellent! The server, who happens to be the son of cook, was excellent who patiently explained what was what! I thought the Phở that I tried elsewhere was better but since this a new place I’m willing to try again! I really hope this place does well & thrives!

Clean, bright space; young, friendly staff. You get a big bowl of phở for under $ 8. This place opened a week ago(today is 7÷18÷14) and doesn’t have its full menu yet. If you’re in Forest, VA and want some phở, try it here.
