West Manor Estates

My husband and I got married here in September 2015! This venue was my DREAM venue! I loved how the ceremony and reception was a packaged deal. It made life so much easier since we lived 3 hours away! Of course it rained the whole weekend of our wedding so we could not get married at the gazebo BUT the indoor atrium option for the ceremony was also breathtaking! We had a blast and are so happy we chose west manor!

This is a beautiful place to get married and offers a great outdoor gazebo for the ceremony and a lovely ballroom for the reception. Some serious drawbacks are you must use certain vendors (they give you a list) and they claim that this includes a wedding planner. The planner they give you is useless. I live out of town and grew up in that area (thank goodness I did). If anything the wedding planner has slowed down my planning. Also, I drove 3+ hours to meet with several vendors which the planner arranged and then didn’t tell me untill I arrived that the chef would not be there and the florist was completely unprepared with no pictures of her work to show me so I could use centerpieces, bouquets, boutanieers, etc. The only good thing about the appointment was I met the dj which was by far the best thing. However, he does play edited music.

We came here for the wedding of a dear friend and wooooow. This place is absolutely GORGEOUS. The gazebo overlooking acres of Virginia scenery was the perfect setting for an evening wedding. The reception, which was held inside, is probably the most perfect venue for a wedding or reception ever. There is a patio where we enjoyed cocktail hour and had an amazing view of the sunset. Staff was excellent and everything was beyond awesome.
